Notes to Drill Conductor 1-In the printed drill your words are in BLUE. 2-I highly recommend utilizing a sheet of paper folded in half to slide down the page to keep your place, but more importantly, a surface to indicate tally marks as you call on the drill students to help you know how often you have called on a particular student. 3-Another consideration is to hole punch pages on the left, so your drill sections are open across the page.

What does the Bible say about obeying authority? What does the Bible say about obeying authority? Romans 13:1-2 (KJV) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. Romans 13:1-2 (HCSB) Everyone must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are instituted by God. So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. Luke 22:17-20 (HCSB) Then He took a cup, and after giving thanks, He said, Take this and share it among yourselves. For I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes. And He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said, This is My body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me. In the same way He also took the cup after supper and said, This cup is the new covenant established by My blood; it is shed for you. Luke 22:17-20 (ESV) And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves. Listening and Doing Listening and Doing James 1:19-20 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:19-20 (HCSB) My dearly loved brothers, understand this: Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for man s anger does not accomplish God s righteousness. James 1:19-20 (ESV) Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 12

A Christian s Armor A Christian s Armor Ephesians 6:13-18 (KJV) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Ephesians 6:13-18 (HCSB) This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. In every situation take the shield of faith, and with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is God s word. Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints. Ephesians 6:13-18 (ESV) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. 13
