JESUS LOVED THE CHILDREN In the Bible, in Mark 10:13 through 16, is the story of the children coming to see Jesus. The story tells that Jesus loved the children. Read the story from the Bible, too. Jesus and the Children Jesus was coming to town. All the people were excited. We shall see Jesus, said the people. We shall hear Jesus speak about God! The children were excited, too. They had heard many stories about Jesus and the great things He had done. The children were going with their mothers and fathers. They would see Jesus, too. Many other people had come to see Jesus also. Big crowds of people were around Jesus. They were listening to what He was saying. The people pushed to get closer to Jesus. The children could not see Jesus. They could not get close. Please let the children through, said the mothers. The children want to see Jesus, too. No, said the disciples. Jesus is an important man. He is too busy to talk to little children. 4 (four)
