ST. BASIL LENT APPEAL. Easter Sunday is the LAST opportunity to make a donation to the St. Basil Lent Appeal. GOOD FRIDAY HOT X BUNS. We would be very grateful for any donations of Hot X Buns for our service on Good Friday. If you are able to help us, please put your name on the list which is at the back of the church and deliver the buns to either the Vicarage or the Church Centre on the Thursday or before 10.30am on Good Friday. BASIL S STARTER KIT Lent Appeal 2018 As you may know St. James has a link with a hostel run by St. Basil s in Erdington. They help young homeless people move off the streets and into accommodation, setting up their own homes, some for the first time. These young people, mainly men, need the usual household items, preferably new, but nearly new would also be welcome. Below is a list of items that would be appreciated and can be left in the box at the back of church. I will be taking the items collected during the first week in April. Thank you. Tina.
