We come, each of us a child of God. Jesus said, Do not stop them. We come to remove obstacles before children. Jesus said, It is to children that the reign of God belongs. We come to recognize that each child is already part of God s realm. Jesus said, Truly I tell you, whoever does not receive the reign of God as a little child will never enter it. We come to worship with the trust and vulnerability and dependence of a child. Come, let us worship God. *Choral ACT OF PRAISE #141 UMH Children of the Heavenly Father (verse 1) *Sharing the peace of christ Please greet those worshipping near you. Thanks be to God! 5th grade reflections "Blessed to Be a Blessing" 2 Samuel 7:29 Lincoln Hughes Genesis 12:2 Mikey Strauss Sunday School Creed We respond Preschool and Younger Elementary Sunday School Class We believe in God: Who is Creator of us and the world, Who is everywhere, Who is the Father, Son, and Spirit, Who wants us to be better people. We believe in Jesus: Who is God s son, Who is invisible and lives in our hearts, Who protects us, Who died and came back to life for us, Who is busy in Heaven and wants us to do his work on earth. We believe we are blessed: To have God by our side, To have family, friends, food and shelter, To be loved by so many people, To be loved by God. We believe we are called to bless others: By being nice, By sharing, caring, and forgiving, By praying and helping, By treating others the way we want to be treated, By having hope and being joyful. This is what we believe. We Offer Our Gifts & Ourselves Megan Crawford Your generous gifts support the ministries and outreach of the church. You may place gifts of cash or checks made out to First UMC in the offering plates as they are passed. You may also place your Let's Connect/Let Us Pray card in the offering plate.
