ST MATTHIAS S Special Intention HOLY SPIRIT Special Intention ST TERESA S PARISH CENTRE The Parish Centre Committee need your help for a one off clean up on Saturday 11 th April at 10.30 The Parish Centre is now used on a regular basis the activities include Monday Lunch Club, Irish Dancing, Pilates, Slimming world, Line dancing to name but a few and it is also used for Christenings, Holy Communions and other one off events. The primary school children also use it a number of days a week for lunches and for the next couple of weeks the youth club will also be using the facilities As such we would like to give it a major clean if you could spare even an hour of your time it would be greatly appreciated The Parish Centre Committee meet approx. once every 2 months and it is a great way of getting involved in Parish life we are currently looking for new members and if you are interested in either the clean up or joining the committee Please contact Margaret Donnelly on 02890618534
4 PAGE 4 FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS will take place in ST MATTHIAS S CHURCH On the First Saturday in the month 3.00pm Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Confessions 4.00pm Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I promise to assist at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, go to confession and receive Holy Communion, recite the Rosary, keep me company for a quarter of an hour, while meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation. All first time parents ought to attend a baptism meeting before their child's baptism. Baptism enquiries should be made to the parish office eight weeks before due baptism date. Please book a date for the Baptism meeting before booking a date for your child s Baptism. Godparents are also encouraged to attend the Baptism meeting with the parents.
