Chancery Court order (Ne York City, June 8, 1811) for an accounting of Joseph Winter's management of the Cosby's Manor trust estate (183-1811) and the accounts consequently prepared by Morris S. Miller, Abraham Varick, and Charles C. Brodhead, referees, in the case of Temperance Green & others vs. Joseoh Winter & others (34 pp.); the accounts include records of receipts for lands sold or leased and expenditures incurred in the management of these lands, ith considerable information on acreage, prices, surveys, titles, and related matters; and some accounts for Oriskany Fann and Nine Mile Creek Fann in Oriskany Patent, lands in Springfield Patent, and Bayside Fann. Fair copy (ith scattered notations :in another hand) of a Ne York State Chancery Court order (Ne York City, June 8, 1811) for an accounting of Joseph Winter s management of the Cosby's Na.nor trust estate,* and the accounts (183-1811) subseuently prepared by :Morriss. Miller, Abraham Varick, and Charles C. Brodhead, referees, in the case of Temperance Green & others vs. Joseph \oj:i.nter & others (34 pp.); pages 2-12 consist of detailed listings of land sales (September 11, 185-May 187), giving acreage, price per acre, buyer, cash received at time of sale, total price, interest, and additional i..nf'ormation concerning clouded titles and jnaccurate survey lines.folloed by a sjmilar record for the period October 15, 187 to January 15, 1811; also, accounts of Winter s receipts from other sources, such as defaulted land contracts, bills of exchange, damages in trespass suits, rents (as early as May 184); record of lands leased, including those leased by Jonas Platt on behalf of Winter (p. 1), lot locations and rates, and a general statement of mon;.i.es received, totallingf53,877.65. The remainder (pp. 13-34) consists of a record of monies paid by Winter on mortgages (November JO, 184-January JO, 181) and other expenditures incurred in the mnagement of these lands, including those paid to Temperance Green (April 185- ctober 14, 1811) and those spent on surveying (September 25, 195-December 4, 191), taxes (April 26, 197-January 28, 1911), and various legal expenses (August 183-January 1811), including his on counsel's fee, fees or Jonas Platt [J.P.. as Mrs. Green s attorney in this case], record of commissions (September 11, 195-ctober 1811) and expense alloances due Winter both before and after May 197; also, accounts for management of to farms (Oriskany Farm, 186...1811, and Nine Mile Creek Farm, 187-1811) in Oriskany Patent, including payments and receipts for stock, bay, fanning "Utensils,tt and grain. Also, entries concerning lots in Springfield Patent (sold June 1, 187, p.. 3); and some accounts of Bayside Farm [home of Temperance Green?] in Queens County. erkimer and Oneida Counties..
