Prayerfully consider giving to this special offering. Envelope provided in the bulletin. FELLOWSHIP with your Brothers & Sisters after the service in Fellowship Hall. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 As we are gathered for worship, Let us acknowledge with solemn joy God s gift of this place, Remembering with gratitude All who have worshipped here, The faith professed at the font, The gospel proclaimed from the pulpit, The assurance received at the table, The marriage vows, the witnesses to the joys and challenges of life, And the enduring faithfulness of Jesus Christ. Let us also reaffirm our faith In the God who upholds His church As this structure is transferred to other uses. That which we have received from God Let us now return to God with thanksgiving. We already have enough fanatical seriousness, enthusiasm, and humorless zeal in the world. But joy? This shows us that the perception of the living God is rare. When we have found God our Savior or when God has found us we will rejoice in God. LITANY OF PRAISE Eternal God, whom the highest heaven cannot contain, Much less a building made by human hands. Hear our prayer. For the Church universal, of which this building has been a symbol, For all the saints who, in times past and present Have given praise to you in this place To offer their prayers and praise to you, For those who have been made your children by adoption and grace, Who in this place were cleansed of sin, Buried with Christ in the waters of baptism, And raised to new and eternal life, For your presence whenever your Word has been proclaimed And your sacramental gifts of bread and wine received, For your blessing upon each of your children welcomed and nurtured here, For all who came to ask your blessing in marriage, seeking to love with your love, For faithful stewards, who have lived for others Serving you by loving neighbors, Fri 3/30 6:00 PM Reflection Sanctuary 7:00 PM Good Friday Service Sanctuary -Karl Barth For all who were gathered from this place, having lived this life in faith, Who now live eternally with you, For the knowledge that your church and ministry among us Will continue today, tomorrow, and forever, We praise you, O God, Through Jesus Christ our Lord, By the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer for Illumination Lord, open our hearts and minds by the power of Your Holy Spirit, that as the Scriptures are read and Your Word is proclaimed, we may hear with joy what You say to us today. The study takes neither a "how to convert Muslims" nor a "we're all the same" approach. It provides students with a greater appreciation of both Jesus and Muhammad; both the New Testament and the Quran; and both Christianity and Islam. One of the most common comments from students who have taken the course is that they learned a lot about Islam and just about as much about their own faith. The class begins after Easter, on April 8th and will finish May 20th. It will be held from 9:00 to 9:50 AM with Betty Peterson as leader, assisted by Penny Bernard. Each student should purchase the textbook for $10 and are available today in Fellowship Hall.

The Church s one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord; She is His new creation By water and the Word: From heav n He came and sought her To be His holy Bride; With His own blood He bought her, And for her life He died. Elect from every nation, Yet one o er all the earth, Her charter of salvation, One Lord, one faith, one birth; One holy Name she blesses, Partakes one holy food, And to one hope she presses, With every grace endued. Mid toil and tribulation, And tumult of her war, She waits the consummation Of peace for evermore; Till, with the vision glorious, Her longing eyes are blest, And the great Church victorious Shall be the Church at rest. Yet she on earth hath union With God the Three in One, And mystic sweet communion With those whose rest is won: O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we, Like them, the meek and lowly, In love may dwell with Thee. The Church's One Foundation HOLY GROUND Geron Davis As I walked through the door, I sensed His presence, and I knew this was the place where love abounds For this is the temple, Jehovah God abides here, and we are standing in His presence on holy ground* We are standing on holy ground And I know that there are angels all around Let us praise Jesus now We are standing in His presence On holy ground In His presence There is joy beyond measure And at His feet Peace of mind can still be found And if you have a need I know He has the answer Reach out and claim it, you are standing on holy ground We are standing on holy ground And I know that there are angels all around Let us praise Jesus now We are standing in His presence On holy ground. Let us praise Jesus now We are standing in His presence On holy ground.
