Present Position: Associate Professor in Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), (A Central University by the act of Indian Parliament), New Delhi since 15 th November 2012. 2. Worked at: Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi as an Assistant Professor in Arabic since 22 nd. February 2002 till 14 th November 2012. Jawaharlal Nehru University, (JNU), New Delhi as a Teacher of Arabic Language in the Centre of Arabic & African Studies since January 1997 to January 2000. The subjects I taught in this university contained history, culture, polity, and economy of Arab world (in the First Year of B.A) and Arabic text (in the Second Year of B.A).The medium of instruction was English. All India Radio, New Delhi, External Services Division, Arabic Unit, as a News Reader, Translator and Announcer since May 1997 to May 2002. The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen, N. Delhi, as a Secretary-cum- Arabic English Translator to the Cultural Counsellor, since May 2001 to February 2002. (ETV (Urdu)) As an Anchor in 80 episodes on the social and religious issues of Indian Muslims). The programmes were telecasted during 2002, 2003 and 2004. Supervised the students of the Dept. of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia in the process of issuing "The Journal of Arabic Literature " in the form of a collection of four wall magazines issued during the Academic Year 2012-2013 on the following themes: I. Muslims in India. II. Terrorism III. Review of famous Arabic books written by Indian scholars. IV. Miscellaneous. 3. 3 Wall magazines were issued, and later compiled and printed in March 2012 under my supervision on the following topics: I. The Message of Eid. II. Arab Spring. III. The Contribution of Professor Fahana Siddiqui to the Arabic language and literature. 4. The Journal of Arabic Literature (A special issue on the "Development of Arabic Language & Literature in India" was issued in 2011 by the Subject Association of the Dept. of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi under my supervision. 5. The Journal of Arabic Literature (A special issue on the "Arabic Fiction" was issued in 2009 by the Subject Association of the Dept. of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi under my supervision. 6.
