Upon arrival to the Palace of Mina, the King and the accompanying delegation, were received by Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior and the Head of Hajj Supreme Commission, royal and non-royal princes and senior, civil and military, officials. Earlier in the day, the King has left Jeddah, heading to Makkah, on his way to the destination of Mina. Eid Mubarak On the occasion of Eid al-adha «Alhayat» presenting its readers warm greetings, asking almighty to keep Arab and Islamic world bestowed of stability, goodness and blessing in the coming Eid MERCY DAY Mina - Mohammed Al Tufil Algerian and Yemeni were born in "Arafa day" Arafat - Mohammed Al Shahrani The holy capital of Makkah received a new birth at the hospital in the Holy City to a lady who had come from Algeria to perform Hajj. The blessed mother expressed her deeply thanks to the hospital management for their generous reception. "Since entering the hospital, I received a highly medical care and an excellent treatment from all the staff, I cannot describe my feeling to be in the purest parts of the earth to perform the Hajj, Allah gifted me to perform the Hajj with a new female child in the land of the two Holy Mosques, her certificate of birth issued in the most honorable place" She added. On the same time, a Yemeni woman gave a birth on the Mountain of Arafat while she was performing Hajj. Arafat's hospital officials said the boy was born in good conditions as the mother was transferred to Namera Hospital in a normal delivery, which reflected positively on the health of 800-gram. Photo by: Yousif Al-Dobaisi «Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik. Labbaik, Here I am at your service and no partner with you. All praise and all bounty, for you and the sovereignty. No partner with you, here I am. The Talbiyah is a Muslim prayer invoked by the pilgrims as a conviction that they intend to perform the Hajj only for the glory of Allah. Talbiyah is repeatedly invoked during the Hajj, or pilgrimage, upon putting on the Ihram, so the pilgrims can purify themselves of worldly concerns. Here I am at the service of Allah, here I am. This is the day Muslims are ask Allah forgiveness. Those who did not stand on this mountain, on which the Great Prophet stood up cannot feel the same feeling and trembling palpitations that one experiences within one group of more than two million pilgrims who pray for Allah at the same time. In order to ensure that each pilgrim performs the ritual correctly, the surrounding conditions must be convenient and this is what Saudi Arabia has ensured through an integrated system of medical and security services. By Friday dawn, the pilgrims set out to spend the days of "Tashreeq" and stonning, and then circling around K'aaba "Tawaf Al-Ifaadah", after their last night in Muzdalifah coming from Arafat.

"Al Khaliph".. King Salman borne expenses of sacrificial sheep for 5000 pilgrims Makkah- Alhayat The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has borne the expenses of sacrificial sheep for all 5000 pilgrims hosted within the King's program for Hajj and Umrah this year. The Secretary General of the program, Abdullah bin Madlaj Al-Madalj, said that award comprises all the hosted in the program, including the families of Palestinian and Egyptian army and police martyrs along with the martyred and the injured of the Sudanese army participating in determination storm and renewal of hope operations as well as other guests of more than 80 countries. The old habit for Makkah's ladies Jeddah - Aisha Jafari The streets of Makkah are empty on the eve of Eid al-adha, even the holy sites as all the pilgrims are in Arafat. They move from Muzdalifah to Mina, leaving an appropriate time for changing the Kiswa, the K'abba 's cladding. In general, Saudi Arabia has some old habits and traditions transmitted from grandparents to parents, and highly considered by children to be familiar with. Although many of the old habits and traditions, associated with the occasion, are in their way to be a part of the history due to some social factors, urbanization that occurred in the Saudi society and the change in perception and concepts of some old habits, but there are habits and traditions are still firmly established, especially those associated with religious events. The departure of pilgrims to stand in Arafat on the day of Arafa is a great occasion for the people of Makkah to perform a habit they have known for a long time, for those who did not perform the Hajj on this day; called "the day of Al Khaliph". The elder people of Makkah celebrate this day in their own way and lead the women to the streets in the form of groups chanting " Oh Qais, Oh Qais, people in Hajj, so what are you doing here!?" or in another lyrics such as " Oh Qaisana, Oh Qaisana, come for our home to drink our water ", assuring a precious habit for the people of Makkah in such a holy day, especially on the night of Arafa, where women and men carry baskets full of Arabian coffee and cookies (made of date) to the holy house of Allah in a tradition they agreed to call it "day of Al Khaliph" as they spend that day in the Mosque to pray for them and for pilgrims. During that day, most of the neighborhoods of Makkah, such as: Al Masfla, Al Mansur, Jarul, Hajlah, and Ajyad and Reaa Bakhsh, are completely free of pilgrims, because of the presence of pilgrims in Arafat, and though it is an old habits, Makkah's ladies are very keen pass such a great and generous habit to their daughters. The women of Makkah, who have lived in the neighborhoods of the Holy Mosque are reviving Al-Khaliph, in groups, to hold lectures and seminars, and they may also eat Ifttar, the breakfast after fasting the day of Arafah, which represents the greatest day of pilgrimage. Khaleda Al Thaqafi, one of those ladies who are keen to perform that habit of going to the Grand Mosque on the day of Arafa explained the reason of why Makkah's women are using dates to make such cookies, saying that: "The Hajj season is distinguished in making "Maamool" and "Ghorayba" as cookies to help the pilgrims who are on their way to Makkah, giving a good energy to perform their rituals. "The "Maamool" is one of the best cookies on which the pilgrims depend for its high nutritional value and its containment of dates, flour, sesame, margarine and because it does not be rotted quickly." Khalida added, "Among the pilgrims in that period the temperature is very hot, and it is so much easier for them to carry such delicious cookies with them. SR 5 million Imposed, as Fines on Hajj Violators Makkah- Alhayat The General Directorate of Passports (GDP) explained that until Thursday as many as 90 administrative decisions have been issued against citizens and residents, as well, who have transported pilgrims without Hajj permits. Penalties varied between fines, prison sentences, deportation of offenders, defamation and demand of confiscation of means of transport used to transport pilgrims, the immigration authority added. The total number of violating carriers through the centers of entrances into Makkah, at Shemeissi, Tanneim, Bahitah and Kar, stood at 69 citizens and 22 residents, who transported 498 pilgrims without permits, while the total financial fines issued against violators worth SR 5,245,000.

"Al Tawafa".. A Career kept by the people of Makkah Guiding the pilgrims with 400 million of revenues.. Makkah - Sultan Al - Hojaili M any careers in Makkah have been founded even before the dawn of Islam, were for Muslims Khalifahs and Scholars who started officially at the Mamluki and Ottomans era with a sultanic decree for special families in specific provinces. "The career of Al Tawafa or "Al-Rifada " guiding the pilgrims in their holy rituals - is ancient career back to Qusay ibn Kelab, the grandfather of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), Sameer Barqa, an Islamic researcher said to "Al Hayat". "The Ottomans issued a decree called the report, which was granted by the Sultan in a region or province or territories for one of the families known to serve its pilgrims, Sameer added. King Abdulaziz decree When King Abdulaziz entered Makkah in 1343 H, he issued a decree to maintain such a profession. Barqa revealed that there is no state but Saudi Arabia that has served this profession, indicating a historical "Balagh", began with the Makkah Declaration in 1343 H. By the end of King Abdul Aziz's era, the presidency of the pilgrims guides was established at 1369 H, and then be reported to the Directorate General (was reported to the Ministry of Interior), during which AlTawafa was an individual career with several laws and regulations. With the establishment of the Ministry of Hajj, the career required to have institutions in 1402 H, side by side with ZamZam Office, (ZamZam is a well located within the Holy Mosque), Agents Office in Jeddah and the Office of Guides in Medina. 90 thousand finish the monopoly of the profession It is wrong to believe in the monopoly of such a profession as more than 15,000 guides, practicing it, while the most are either younger than 18 years old or older than 65 years, or women who work as a substitute. 50 guides of them are considered to be outside the profession, but they have specific responsibilities, and there are more than 90 thousand working in the system of pilgrimage Tawafa in general. The Islamic researcher pointed out that the revenues of Al Tawafa do not exceed S.R 400 million, according to the papers and facts, as the pilgrim pays S.R 594 for the service, while the guide share does not exceed S.R 168, in addition to S.R 48 for the tents in the ritual places. "Some of Al Tawafa institutions adopted a system of competitiveness this year, in order to improve the service, to open the way for the guides to provide a service and to expand the base of participation among family representation, revealing that for the weak income of the guides of the pilgrims, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah assigned them with additional services, but such an experience is still in its elementary phase. Memory of AlTawafa in Hajj Barqa recalled some memories of the Hajj as he heard from his mother that she gave birth to one of his sisters during the Hajj season on the day of Eid in the bus that took 10 hours 65 years ago, according to the old documents of his grandfather, that some of the pilgrims were borrowing money from al-mutawf, the pilgrims guide, when they finished their own money to complete the 5th pillar of Islam and after the Hajj, al-mutawf goes to their countries to receive money from them or through his agents.. The Mutawf in ancient times works as well as a preacher, as he visited people in their homes and taught them the rituals according to his doctrine for Hajj, and the individual guides taught the pilgrims in their countries the rituals of the fifth pillar of Islam, introducing themselves and when they come to the maritime or air ports of Jeddah they continued the teaching they started in their homes.

An artistic approach.. Makkah in Saudi Art French journalist Praises Kingdom's Gigantic Efforts in Hajj Season MAkkah- Alhayat F rench journalist Lamia Belhassan of TF1 Channel has praised the gigantic efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving pilgrims, noting that these efforts required huge potentials by the Government to enable hundreds of thousands of to come from over the world who belong to different cultures and civilizations to perform Hajj rituals in the best conditions, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. She pointed out that the Kingdom provides the best models in the management of the huge crowds of pilgrims. Makkah - Omar Al - Badawi N owadays, Makkah becomes the center of the whole world, as more than two million pilgrims travel to its holy lands, where nearly two billion Muslims are praying in its geographical direction. The world watches pictures broadcasted to them by more than 70 channels and media agencies, in addition to many applications and programs with images and moments that cannot be missed. In all languages, this spot radiates in a holy way, while K'aaba is in the heart of the scene of the universe. For a moment, the time stops for a short time and is slowed down by the obedience of Allah in every pilgrimage season. Art is an international language, and a clear linguistic tongue, tries to express differently its impression of the moment in a form of holding breaths, or in a fine-art painting that explores its details and secrets. Reem Al-Twaim, a Saudi young woman, is a different artist, depending on her fertile imagination, as if she lives in a pink world, weaving her thoughts and inventing her work. She has just completed a work that pictures Al K'aaba as rearranging the chaos of the world. As usual, she employs the simplicity and used tools in her art work, such as tea and sugar leaves were used to create a mating environment that envelops the Kaaba in the heart of the painting, or in the center of the universe. The art in Saudi Arabia renews its presence and revives its role in the reality of the people, though the modest presence of Makkah in Saudi art in general, unlike its great value in their souls, individual attempts are being made strongly to launch a new era that promises more space for art in the reality of the Saudis and their present days. The Saudi artist, Dr. Ahmed Mater has a unique three-dimensional magnetic painting, in which the Holy House of Allah was embodied, inspired by a sense of a magnetic attraction for all Muslims in the world. The philosophy of action is based on a virtual process of throwing iron filings towards a magnetic object. US President Donald Trump stared for a long time to such a great painting at the contemporary Saudi art exhibition during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia. Ahmed Mater himself spends his time now in the holy sites, does not wear Ihraam, Hajj outfit and does not move between the rituals places, but he participates in a photographs exhibition, representing a visual journey in various phases of Hajj and its humanitarian, spatial and spiritual details, as a part of a special initiative to be held for the first time in the tent of Misk, which is located in the Mina. The tent was prepared to be a meeting place for religious, cultural and knowledge activities, matching with the Kingdom's success in the ongoing organization of this holy rite. This is the best place where art can simplify its presence and regain its role without an interpreter; art penetrates light years of words and expression, an impressionistic communication that can be understood by every fine artistic taste. While the souls are being softer by the acts of worship in Mina and Arafat, Saudi Arabia speaks a universal language from the center of the universe to its far distant reaches by its young talented artists. Toll free number to communicate with pilgrims Makkah- Alhayat The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has allocated the toll free number (8004304444) to communicate with pilgrims, as well as receive their inquiries and observations inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ministry said that the 24-hour center aims to achieve satisfaction of users of the services provided by the devices.

"Dabab Al Hajj Time is value... Ride simply Jeddah - Omar Al-Badawi O nce Sheikh Saad Al-Shathri, a member of the senior scholars has been appointed to deliver aspeech on the day of Arafat, the social media activists circulated a picture of Sheikh Shathri back to the pilgrimage season last year, which shows him riding a motorcycle to reach the rituals places. It does not seem strange in the hajj season, as Dabab, a gulf name of the motorcycle, became more important as a faster means of moving around a narrow spot where millions of people are gathering in a limited period of time, which is not seen or even repeated elsewhere as the role of The Dabab is fundamental during this exceptional season. Prior to the start of the season, a number of motorcycle owners in Makkah are preparing to invest in profitable season, some of them rent, while the other renews their motorcycles. Small ride.. big profits The short journey makes unexpected profits, because the value of time increases and the time can be sold to those who want to buy it, as the distance on foot or by a car can be reduced a lot with Al Dabab, so no one of the Islamic Scholars who moves between the pilgrims tents to give a speech or a lecture, cannot use such a fast mean of transportation, or even every pilgrim who needs to save time to be invested in prayers. Ayman al-sharif, owner of "Snap Makkah" offers different coverage through this window, followed by thousands of people through this technology to broadcast the details of the season to the world, this year chose to present his coverage on a motorcycle, moving in an easily way that no other means of transportation can provide. The transportation is a critical issue for officials, so they organized large-scale projects to provide all the means and alternatives available for the movement between the rituals places, Muzdalifah, Mina and Arafat in a narrow time and place frame to have wide alternatives. The Hajj train has been operated since 2009, transporting millions of pilgrims from one ritual place to another, as well as the fleets of buses operating in the same framework. Even if its price is more than usual, The Dabab gives you more than it gets, comfort and time, the secret of the best use of this religious season and the precious opportunity of worship, the comfort in comparison with the long distances and the accumulation of cars over the roads, which will save you energy and efforts to have more time for pray. The time you shorten you will need it in rituals to worship, especially since the time is already short which makes the trip on Al Dabab your best way in Hajj. No epidemiological or quarantine cases among pilgrims The overall health situation of pilgrims is good and there are no epidemiological or quarantine cases to appear, so far, among pilgrims or in the sacred places, Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah announced here today, pointing out that the ministry is focusing on the priority of preventive aspects of pilgrims, as it follows developments and changes in the health situation, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and other related international health bodies. He said that the Ministry of Health has taken all early preventive and precautionary measures to preserve the health and safety of pilgrims, stressing that hospitals and health centers are ready to provide pilgrims with services, whether in the holy places or inside Makkah. In the same context, the ministry indicated Sheikh Saad Al-Shathri ridding Dabab in Hajj last year. that hospitals in Makkah and Madinah continued to provide pilgrims with specialized services, during Hajj season of this year. There were 380 heart catheters and 21 open heart operations conducted, since the beginning of Dhu al-qa'da until 6 Dhu al-hijjah, in addition to 1405 blood dialysis (renal) and a number of 80 binoculars, as well as the number of 482 different surgeries, during the same period. The total number of visits to the emergency departments in the hospitals of Makkah and Madinah of pilgrims is 19775 visits, the number of outpatients of clinics is 29338 and the number of reporters to the clinics amounted to 197641 references, while the number of cases of admissions is 2093 cases, while another 32 cases of heat stress were reported, and that one case was due to sun stroke. 8 Makkah 29-42 Mina 28-40 Muzdalifah 28-40 Governor of Madinah praises services provided for visitors Madinah, - Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of Hajj Committee in Madinah, has praised the efforts and preparations mobilized to implement the programs of the pre-hajj season for 1438 AH having positive effects on about 900,000 pilgrims of visitors of the Prophet's Holy Mosque who perform their rituals easily, thanks to potentials, services and facilities being provided for them by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He commended the excellence of the performance of the tasks and duties to the fullest, pointing to the successful interaction and integration with the Governorate of the region and related parties to serve pilgrims. weather The Kiswah is the most expensive cloth in the world Riyadh Alhayat. Kiswa is the cloth that covers the Kaaba in Makah. It is draped annually on the 9th day of the month of Dhu al-hijjah, the day pilgrims leave for the plains of Mount Arafat during the Hajj as done yesterday. The first time the Kaaba was clothed was during the rule of the Jurhum tribe during the visit of King Tuba of Himyar (in present-day Yemen). Muhammad and the Muslims in Makkah did not participate in the draping of the Kaaba until the conquest of the city at 630 AD (7 AH), as the ruling tribe, Quraish, did not allow them to do so. When Makkah was taken by the Muslims, they decided to leave the Kiswah as it was until woman lighting incense in the Kaaba accidentally set fire to the Kiswah. Muhammad then draped it with a white Yemeni cloth. Every year, the old Kiswa is removed, cut into small pieces, and given to certain individuals, visiting foreign Muslim dignitaries and organizations. Some of them sell their share as souvenirs of the Hajj. In earlier times, Umar bin al-khattab would cut it into pieces and distribute them among pilgrims who used them as shelter from the heat of Makkah. In 1927, King Abdulaziz issued a royal order for the construction of factories and villages dedicated to making the Humidity 35 80% Kiswah. Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Ansari was the first manager of the factory, and in 1977 he established a new facility for manufacturing the Kiswah. the finest silk threads are now imported from Switzerland and Italy. Costing SAR 22 million (USD 5.5 million), the Kiswah is the most expensive cloth in the world. This sum of money includes the cost of raw materials, wages for those involved in the construction and administration costs. - According to Dr. Mohammed Bajouda, the manger of the Kiswah factory the Kiswah consists of - 47 reels of cloth, each of which are 14 meters [46 feet] in length and 95 centimeters [3 feet] wide. - On the top third of the cloth, there is the Kiswa belt which is 95 centimeters wide and 45 meters long. - It consists of 16 pieces and surrounds the Kiswa from all sides. - The belt is embroidered with protruding designs that are enameled with silver threads covered with gold. The material is made up of silk and a gold embroidered band is sewn about three fourth the distance from the bottom. - The part covering the door, which stands 2.13 mts above the ground on the northeast side wall, is covered separately with richly embroidered Quranic verses, leaving an opening for the black stone. Wind speed 10-35 km/h 866,791pilgrims left Madinah Madinah - Alhayat A s many as 867,945 pilgrims have so far arrived in Madinah for this year s Hajj season 1438 AH (2017 AD). Madinah-based National Pilgrim- Guides Foundation pointed out in its daily statistics that 866,791 pilgrims have left Madinah, while 1053 pilgrims remained in it.
