Michael F. Luth, 52, of Newman, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, following a car accident in Lake Charles, LA. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at the Immanuel Lutheran church, north of Broadlands, with Pastor John Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the church. He was born May 22, 1964 in Urbana, Il, the son of Don and Esther Craig Luth.He married Jeri Warnes on Sept. 13, 1997 in Broadlands.She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Katlyn (Aaron) Masters, LeRoy and Andi Luth, Newman; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Mike was a farmer in the Newman area. He was retired from UPS where he was a driver for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. Memorials may be may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Joines Funeral Home, Newman, is in charge of arrangements.
