The mission of CTA is to glorify God by providing purposeful products that lift up and encourage the body of Christ because we love him! Jesus Listens! Have you ever talked and talked, but no one was listening? Maybe they just pretended to listen. Or maybe they wanted to listen, but something else got in the way. Other people don t always listen to us. But Jesus always listens. He wants to hear us say, I m sorry. When we say that, he always says, I forgive you. He wants to hear us say, I love you. When we say that, he always says, I love you, too! More than you can imagine! When we re in trouble, he invites us to say, Help me! When we say that, Jesus always helps. Scripture BUBBLES INSIDE BUBBLES Be sure to get a grown-up s permission to try this experiment! I have loved you with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3 1. Mix 1 cup water with 1 tablespoon granulated sugar. 2. Add 2 tablespoons liquid dish detergent. 3. Carefully stir it up! 4. Rub some of the solution on a smooth surface, like a table or countertop. What is Jesus telling ME in this verse? Who else needs to know what this verse says? WHEN or WHERE...... can I use this verse? 5. Dip a plastic coffee stirrer in the mixture and slowly blow a bubble that sticks to the table. (Or use a pipette the tube part of a medicine dropper.) 6. Dip the stirrer into the mixture again. Carefully push the end through your first bubble and blow a second bubble inside the first. (Be patient. You may have to try more than once.) Can you make a third bubble inside the second one? To think about: Imagine yourself inside the love and care of God like the second bubble. Bubbles last only a little while, but God s love is everlasting. It never, ever, ever, ever, ever ends! 6 WHY am I glad this verse is true? SHOW & TELL Show someone your experiment. Invite them to try blowing bubbles inside bubbles, too. Then share the words of Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love. Remind them that bubbles last only a little while, but God s love will never end! The cross of Jesus and his empty tomb prove it! 7
