Contents These proper three divisions are according to the Masoretic Hebrew text. They are in alignment with Jesus statement which speaks of the law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms (Luke 24\44). The Hebrew word d( (= ad) is used 17 times for Eon in The Eonian Books. aion The New Testament Greek noun á þí (= aion) is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew noun Mlw( (= olam) and also therefore means Eon or age. It occurs 126 times in the New Testament. Its adjective á þíéïò (= aionios), meaning Eonian, occurs 71 times. The noun s first occurrence is at Matthew 6\13: for Yours is the Sovereign Rulership, and the might, and the magnificence, throughout the Eons.
