WEEKLY PRAYER SHEET 03/04/2018 Jorene Williams After School Bible Club in Kalispell Since Valentine s Day is in February, I asked the Bible Club children, What is the greatest love story ever told? I assumed their answer would be Jesus. They started giving names of movies or stories they had seen. One kid mentioned Adam and Eve. At least it was story from the Bible. One little girl said, Mom and Dad. I liked that answer. I wish all young children had loving parents and a good home life. I shared John 3:16, For God so loved the world, He gave We made a valentine with decorative stickers for John 3:16. We are studying the life of David. Jonathan, Saul s son, had a heart of friendship and giving. He chose to be a good friend to David and trust God and His way. David chose God s way and chose not to take the revenge. He went into hiding and ran away from King Saul who was trying to kill him. David had many chances to take revenge and kill Saul, but David chose not to harm him. Instead, David chose to wait for God s timing for him to become the next king of Israel. Jonathan and David chose God s way of love and friendship. I asked again at the end of class. What was the greatest story ever told? One little boy piped up, John 3:16. He got it! It will soon be Easter and I will be teaching the greatest love story. Please pray for me as I teach the Easter story. Pray for the children s response to God s love for them. Pray as I adjust to driving a different car. (She was rear ended in December) Pray for financial needs to be met. (Extra expenses with medical issues) Pray for health Thank you for your faithful giving and support of BCM ministry to the children in Kalispell. We d love to pray for you!
