The Personal Worker's Course Prepared for Preachers, Sunday School Teachers, And All Other Christian Workers Unless otherwise stated, all scriptures are from the King James Version Of The Bible. As God's promise is that His Word shall not return unto Him void, it is very evident, that, in order to insure success, two things are needful: 1) To deal with the lost, God's word must be utilized; and 2) God's Word must be known in order to be used. The worker should know the verse/s applying to each case and should know where to find them in the Word of God. It is necessary to have relevant knowledge of the scriptures to be used, before dealing with the lost person. Keep in mind that it is God's Word and we must be prepared to use it wisely, for accuracy leads to more confidence. So, let us take the time to know our Bibles, know what verses we need, know them from memory always giving the reference or revealing the reference in the reading of the passage; and remember that God wants us to succeed, and He will be able to "bring scripture to your remembrance". The personal worker's motto is this: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13). First learn the meaning of the verse as a whole understand it before ministering it. Study it word by word. Close the eyes and see it in your mind. Some write the verse over and over or say it over and over till they have it down. Note the circumstances the verse/s were given a special value to learning the reference. Find a close connecting thought between the first words of the verse and the reference. Example: Matthew 24:44 begins, "Therefore be ye ". Notice the "4:44" in the reference three fours. So, look for other connections as well. Master each verse before going to the next. It's the amount we retain, not what we cover. You can remember the verses by continuing in them...and by adding more. Look at the motto every time you lose confidence. Review often. When you learn one verse, then go over the previous ones every day. Review all verses learned often. Quote verses aloud (reciting) to a partner until the verse flows as water in your mind. It is always easier to memorize (anything) when your mind is not stressed. Relax. Jesus commanded us to: "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15). Be ready to minister where and when the Spirit leads. Tools needed: Carry a small Bible and a small reference list, possibly in a small loose-leaf notebook. Write or "type" the scripture references under the "witness topic" possibly in the same order and layout as is in the following Lessons. Knowing how to locate verses of scripture in a "quick-time" gesture will help you to "finalize a positive decision" from that lost person you have been praying and interceding for. Jesus said, "go and tell, and I Will Cleanse Them."

Personal Worker's Course/Plan MOTTO: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 Questions Of The Unsaved Why Personal Work?: The Lord Commanded it. 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15). 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). 16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. (1 John 3:16). Why?: It's our privilege. Why?: The World is Lost. WHERE? The field is the world..that's everywhere the Holy Spirit Sends us. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. ( Mark 16:15). WHEN? 6:2). 2 behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians HOW? Must be born again. Should be filled with His Spirit. Should "walk the walk". Must be a person of prayer/intercession. Must seek after the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Should have personal space with no distractions. Must show the Love of Christ. Must show wisdom. Must lift up Christ. Should Pray in the Spirit. Must lead lovingly, not fearful. SUGGESTION: If you do not have 3" X 5" cards, purchase a package for yourself. Type on one side the scripture reference; then on the opposite side, type the scripture in full don't forget to add the reference to this side of the card also. That way your helper will be able to insure you are stating the correct verse with the reference A great way to help your partner learn and yourself.

BEGIN HERE: A. "WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. ( Isaiah 53:5, 6) 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12). 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24). 19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. (Acts 3:19) 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31). 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9,10). 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (10:13). 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9). B. "AFRAID I CAN'T HOLD OUT." 28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. (Psalm 37:28). 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.. (John 10:28-29). 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. (Romans 14:4).

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9). 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6). 12 for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (2 Timothy 1:12). C. "TOO SINFUL TO BE SAVED." 18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18). 13.. for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Matthew 9:13). 10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10). 37...him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:37). 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8). 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. (1 Timothy 1:15). 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25) D." STUMBLING OVER THE INCONSISTENCIES OF SIN." 7... for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7). 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (Jeremiah 17:10). 41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? (Luke 6:41). 1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. 2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. 3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?. (Romans 2:1-3). 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12).

E. "SOME OTHER TIME." 1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. (Prov. 27:1). 1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. (Proverbs 29:1). 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: (Isaiah 55:6). 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44). 2...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) (2 Corinthians 6:2). 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; (Hebrews 2:3). Mistaken Ideas About Salvation A. "I AM TRYING TO BE A CHRISTIAN." 2)Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2). 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Matthew 16:24). 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (Romans 4:3-5). 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Eph 2:8). B." THE SELF-RIGHTEOUS MAN." 6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousneses are as filthy rags; (Isaiah 64:6). 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Mk.16:16). 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. (Luke 16:15). 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3). 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (John 3:6).

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18). 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (Romans 3:23). 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. (James 2:10). C. TOO MANY THINGS I CAN'T UNDERSTAND." 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, (Luke 24:45). 33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! (Romans 11:33). 18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18). 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:14). D. "TOO MUCH TO GIVE UP." 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psalm 16:11). 36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? 37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:36,37). 29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. (Luke 18:29,30). 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9). E. "AFRAID OF PERSECUTION." 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. (Mark 8:38). 22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. 23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. (Luke 6:22,23). 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the

glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18), 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: (2 Tim. 2:12). 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2). HELL AND SIN A. "FUTURE EXISTENCE AND FUTURE PUNISHMENT" 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (Matthew 25:41). 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Mat. 25:46). 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28,29). 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:10,15). B. "GOD IS TOO GOOD TO DAMN ANYONE." 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. (Psalm 1:5,6). 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (John 12:48). 5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: (Romans 2:5,6). 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Pet. 3:9) C. "WHAT IS SIN?" 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. (1 John 3:4). 17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. (1 John 5:17).

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; (John 16:8,9). 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (Romans 14:23). 17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (James 4:17). D. "THE EFFECTS OF SIN." 22 There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked. (Isaiah 48:22). 2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2). 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (John 8:34). 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23) 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? (1 Corinthians 6:9). E. "THE IMPORTANCE OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS." 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. (Lev. 17:11). 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. (Matthew 26:28). 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (Romans 5:9,10). 22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. (Hebrews 9:22). 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (1 Peter 1:18,19). 1 Please Page Down 1 Personal Worker's Course. The Road Through Romans For All Personal Workers Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. All must know we are sinners and that we need forgiveness. We are not worthy of God s grace. Romans 5:8 But God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Through Jesus, God gave us a way to be saved from our sins. God showed us His love by giving us the potential for life through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. If we remain sinners, we will die. However, if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and repent of our sins, we will have eternal life. Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Just confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved! Romans 10:13 For whosoever calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. There are no religious formulas or rituals -- Call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved! Romans 11:36: "For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen." Determine in your heart to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life today. Roman Road: Are You Ready to Accept God s Gift of Salvation? If you truly believe the message of the Roman Road, and want to accept God s gift of salvation right now, it's a matter of repenting of your sins and turning the rest of your life over to Jesus Christ. Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Blessings From: www.christsbondservants.org
