Experience Israel With Tirosh Expeditions 2013 Tour Brochure Presented by Tirosh Expeditions LLC
Letter from the president View of Aijalon Valley Story of Joshua Dear Pilgrims, Every Christian dreams of making their journey to Israel, one day I am going to visit the land of the Bible, land where our faith began, the land where our Savior once walked. Tirosh Expedition s vision is to help believers to truly experience the land of the Bible. Our motto is Experience, Explore and Be Empowered. Our staff and I are dedicated to providing a life-changing and memorable experience to Christian pilgrims around the world. All of our tours are intended to give participants a broader understanding of the Bible. Our tour focuses on the Bible, history, culture and geography, all vital elements to understand the Bible. When I visited Israel for the first time, I could not believe how much I did not know about the Bible, even with years of theological training. My vision is to offer this opportunity, to go to Israel, to as many Christians as possible, so you can experience the land of the Bible as I did. I pray that you will prayerfully consider joining one of Tirosh Expeditions tours in the near future. Shalom and Baruch Hashem (Peace and Blessed be God). Our Vision is to help believers EXPERIENCE the land of the Bible. As you EXPLORE Israel, our desire is to EMPOWER you through this life-changing experience. Ji Yun President Tirosh Expeditions 2
OUR GUIDES What makes our tour a life-changing experience is our guide. Many times when Christians tour in Israel, they are not promised a specific guide prior to their tour. You are not promised a guide with a Christian background, and many times they can be non-believers. Tirosh Expeditions boast in our guides since they are all believers and known for their gifts in teaching the Bible with Christ in mind. Arie Bar-David Born in Israel, to the first Messianic Jewish family, Arie Bar-David s father was known as one of the pioneers of Messianic Jewish faith in Israel before the birth of Israel in 1948. Arie is a gifted musician, played double bass for Jerusalem symphony and traveled around the world for his musical gift. During the Six Day War and Yom Kippur War, Arie served as a commander of a paratrooper unit. After his music career, He decided to dedicate his life to building the first Christian Kibbutz and served over 20 years as the head carpenter at Kibbutz Yad Hashmona. He now serves as a tour architect and oversees other tour guides. Recently, he was mentioned as one of the most influential believers in Israel by Charisma Magazine. Most importantly, he is a gifted Bible teacher and serves in various churches and organizations as a teacher and counselor to Messianic Pastors and leaders in Israel and abroad. Arie is by far the best Bible teacher I ever met. His simple but profound approach to study the scripture throughout the tour made the stories of the Bible come alive. Tirosh Tour Guides Israel s government issues special licenses for all tour guides. It is a requirement that guides have extensive knowledge of the culture, geography, history, travel, and religion to be a licensed guide in Israel. Tirosh tour guides are approved by Arie Bar-David and all the guides are Messianic Jews (Jews who believe in Christ) and most importantly, under the supervision of Arie, each guide has studied and been equipped to have extensive knowledge of the Bible. These guides are not only tour guides but also our friends. We have confidence in them and know that they will take great care of you while you are visiting Israel. 3
Testimonials Go to Israel! Whatever you need to do, make it happen. It is worth every sacrifice you have to make. Emily J. from Vancouver, Canada The Bible comes alive! Seeing the location where so many biblical events took place make reading these stories so much more vivid. Jonathan S. from Raleigh, NC, USA Endorsements Scott Fiddler Trial Attorney from Houston, TX, USA. Our trip to Israel was a game-changer. To actually see the places mentioned in the Bible adds a completely different dimension to reading the Bible. Reading the Bible now is like the difference between seeing a movie and seeing a movie in 3-D. My wife and I have traveled a lot around the world and our trip with Tirosh Expeditions was the most seamless experience. Everything was taken care of for us so we could concentrate on learning and fully enjoying the sights. I understand biblical things in a whole new way. I feel like my eyes have been opened. Anonymous You need to breath! And this is how you get a breath of biblical teaching. Erik M. from Long Beach, CA, USA I believe that I will never look at the Word of God, the land of Israel or the people of Israel the same again. Anonymous David Houston Church Consultant & Pastor from Nashville, TN, USA. I have been to Israel twice with Arie Bar-David and both were extremely insightful and beneficial to me as a pastor and Bible teacher. In my opinion there is nothing to compare with being on-site in Israel and hearing the Bible explained and illustrated with geography and the Hebrew mindset. Tirosh Expeditions and the staff were invaluable in helping arrange the many activities, guiding the group and help make moment by moment decisions that were beneficial to the tour. They have been to Israel themselves and are knowledgeable of the land, where to go and how long it might take. They are helpful, friendly and very personable. 4
