I studied at Weber College and Utah State, where I received a bachelor s and master s degree. I received a doctorate in educational administration from Brigham Young University. Clue 4. I am an educator by profession. I supervised seminaries and institutes of religion for the Church and was a member of the Administrative Council of Brigham Young University. Clue 5. I was the president of the New England Mission. Clue 6. I am an artist. I love to draw birds! Clue 7. My wife, Donna, and I have ten children. Clue 8. I married Barbara Taylor Dayton on April 28, 1976, in the Salt Lake Temple. Clue 8. I was called as an Apostle on April 6, 1974. Elder L. Tom Perry Clue 1. I was born on September 9, 1924. Clue 2. I received a bachelor s degree and M.D. degree from the University of Utah. Clue 3. I got a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 1954. I also received honorary degrees of Doctor of Science from Brigham Young University in 1970, Doctor of Medical Science from Utah State University in 1989, and Doctor of Humane Letters from Snow College in 1994. Clue 4. I was an internationally renowned surgeon and medical researcher. Clue 5. I am the author of articles that have appeared in medical journals and medical textbooks. Clue 6. I was the chairman of the Council on Cardiovascular Surgery for the American Heart Association, and president of the Utah State Medical Association. Clue 7. My wife, Dantzel, and I have ten children. She passed away in February 2005. In April 2006, I married Wendy Watson. Clue 8. I was called as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on April 7, 1984. Elder Russell M. Nelson

On August 25, 2000, I married Kristen M. McMain in the Salt Lake Temple. Clue 4. I am a graduate of Brigham Young University and of The University of Chicago Law School. Clue 5. I practiced law and taught law in Chicago. Clue 6. I was the president of Brigham Young University from 1971 to 1980. Clue 7. I was a justice of the Utah Supreme Court from 1980 until my resignation in 1984 to accept my calling to the apostleship. Clue 8. I was called as an Apostle in 1984. Elder Dallin H. Oaks Clue 1. I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 8, 1928. Clue 2. I attended the University of Utah. Clue 3. As a young man, I served a mission to England, where I was a counselor in the mission presidency. Clue 4. I married Barbara Bowen in the Salt Lake Temple on August 28, 1951. We have two sons and five daughters. Clue 5. In 1974, I was called as president of the Canada Toronto Mission. Clue 6. Much of my ministry has been focused on missionary work. Clue 7. For my profession, I had interests in the automotive, real estate, and investment businesses. Clue 8. I became a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on October 6, 1985. Elder M. Russell Ballard Clue 1. I was born November 7, 1928, in Pocatello, Idaho. Clue 2. When I was 5, I moved with my parents to Washington, D.C., where my father served with the Department of Agriculture, later becoming an Assistant Secretary of Agriculture. Clue 3. I graduated from George Washington University as a mechanical engineer, and completed post graduate work in nuclear engineering at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Clue 4. I served a full-time mission to Uruguay. Clue 5. From 1953 to 1965 I served on the immediate staff of Admiral Hyman Rickover, directing the development of nuclear fuel for a wide variety of naval and land based power plants. Clue 6. From 1965 to 1969 I was the mission president for the Argentina North Mission. Clue 7. I married my wife, Jeanene, in 1953 in the Manti Temple. She died on May 15, 1995. We have seven children. I served in the U.S. Air Force as a jet fighter pilot. Clue 5. I was Presiding Bishop of the Church from April, 1985 until called to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Clue 6. I was president of the England London Mission in the late 1970s. Clue 7. My wife, Mary, and I have two sons. Clue 8. I was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on April 2, 1994. Elder Robert D. Hales Clue 1. I was born on December 3, 1940. I grew up in St. George, Utah. Clue 2. I was a varsity athlete at Dixie High School and Dixie College. Clue 3. I received my bachelor s degree in English and master s degree in religious education from Brigham Young University. I received master and doctor of philosophy degrees in American Studies from Yale University. Clue 4. I was the ninth president of Brigham Young University. Clue 5. I am a former Church commissioner of education and dean of the College of Religious Education at BYU. Clue 6. I received the Distinguished Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America. Clue 7. In 1963, I married Patricia Terry. We have three children. Clue 8. I was ordained a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on June 23, 1994. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland Clue 1. I was born on June 15, 1952, in Oakland, California. Clue 2. I served as a full-time missionary in Southern Germany. Clue 3. I received a bachelor s degree and a master s degree from Brigham Young University. I also received a doctoral degree in organizational behavior from Purdue University. Clue 4. I was a professor of business management at Texas Tech University and at the University of Arkansas. Clue 5. I was the president of Brigham Young University Idaho from 1997-2004. Clue 6. I married Susan Kae Robinson in the Salt Lake Temple on March 20, 1975. Clue 7. We have three sons. Clue 8. I was called as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on October 7, 2004. I was president and chief executive officer of a California healthcare system. Then I was vice chairman of Sutter Health System. Clue 7. I was the Executive Director of the Missionary Department. Clue 8. I was sustained as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on October 6, 2007. Elder Quentin L. Cook Clue 1. I was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Clue 2. I graduated from high school in New Jersey. Clue 3. As a young man, I served as a missionary in Argentina. Clue 4. I earned a bachelor s degree from Brigham Young University, where I was an Edwin S. Hinckley Scholar. I received a law degree from Duke University. Clue 5. From 1975 to 1980, I practiced law in Washington, D.C., after serving as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge John J. Sirica (1972-74). Then I was associate general counsel of Nations Bank Corporation (now Bank of America) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Clue 6. I was president of the Mexico South Area of the Church. I speak French, Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Clue 4. I led the work of the Church in southern Brazil and helped oversee the Church in western Europe, Mexico, and Central America. Clue 5. I supervised Church audiovisual production, including the filming of The Testaments: Of One Fold and One Shepherd and managed construction of the broadcast facilities in the Conference Center. I married Frances Beverly Johnson on October 7, 1948, in the Salt Lake Temple. We have three children. Clue 6. I served as an executive in the advertising division of the Deseret News, and later as chairman of the board. I am a past president of Printing Industry of Utah and a former member of the board of directors of Printing Industries of America. Clue 7. I am a member of the National Executive Board of Boy Scouts of America. Clue 8. I was called as an Apostle on October 4, 1963. President Thomas S. Monson Clue 1. I was born in Princeton, New Jersey, on May 31, 1933. Clue 2. I earned a degree in Physics from the University of Utah. Clue 3. I earned MBA and a Doctor of Business Administration degrees from Harvard University. Clue 4. I was the Commissioner of Church Education from September 1980 to April 1985, and also September 1992 to January 2005. Clue 5. I was on the faculty at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University from 1962 to 1971. Clue 6. I was president of Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, from 1971 to 1977. Clue 7. My wife, Kathleen, and I have four sons and two daughters. Clue 8. I was called as an Apostle on April 1, 1995. President Henry B. Eyring Clue 1. I was born on November 6, 1940 in Czechoslovakia. Clue 2. I was raised in Zwickau, Germany, where my family joined the Church in 1947. Clue 3. I studied engineering and later continued my education in business administration in Germany, and international management in Switzerland. Clue 4. I joined the German Air Force in 1959 and received my pilot wings in Big Spring, Texas, and fighter pilot training in Phoenix, Arizona. Clue 5. I worked as an airline captain from 1970 to 1996. Clue 6. I was the senior vice president of flight operations and chief pilot of Lufthansa German Airlines. Clue 7. My wife, Harriet, and I were married on December 14, 1962. We have two children.
