True Parents proclaimed the heavenly calendar on January 8, 2010 and spoke about holding a week-long festival from the 1st day of the 1st month in the 1st year of Cheon-gi [Heavenly Foundation] around the time of their birthday. This festive period was held successfully last year. According to True Parents' instructions, the "True Peace and Unity Cheonbok Festival" for commemorating True Parents' Birthday will be held as a seven-day festival period from True God's day and to include True Parents' Birthday. The birthday of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind is the most significant and sacred day in all of history; it is a Holy Day that should be celebrated and commemorated by all humankind regardless of race or religion. In this spirit, the "True Peace and Unity Cheonbok Festival" will be held for all blessed families and the people of the world to start the New Year in prayer and Jeong Seong centring on God and True Parents. Through this festival, let us inherit all the victories of True Parents and celebrate the value of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind beyond the boundaries of religion, race and nation.
This is to announce the celebrations for the beginning of the 2nd year of Cheon-gi (2011) and the "True Peace and Unity Cheonbok Festival." Please offer your jeongseong in preparation for these events. 1. 44th True God's Day Midnight Prayer 1. Date: 1st day of the 1st month in the 2nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 3, 2011), Thursday, Midnight (Please arrive and be seated by 11:00 pm, February 2, 2011) 2. Venue: Main Hall, Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center 3. Participants: Regional presidents, boon-bong-wangs, national messiahs, national leaders, elder members, relatives of True Parents, heads and executives of providential organizations and companies, leaders in Korea and abroad, and members worldwide who wish to participate 4. Dress code: Formal suit 5. Administrative matters Members who are unable to participate in the midnight prayer at Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center in Korea should celebrate True God's Day at your local church or at home. Those coming to Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center in Korea to participate in the 44th True God's Day midnight prayer for the second year of Cheon-gi, should register and pay a fee at the registration counter at the 2nd floor basement of the Training Center. This fee will be used to cover meal expenses and administration costs for the event. Fee: - Adults (13 years or older): 15,000 won per person - Children (12 years or younger): 10,000 won per person - No fee for infants and young children who are 6 years old or younger (Meal coupons will be given to those who register.) 2. Pledge Service for the 44th True God's Day, 10th Anniversary of the Coronation of God's Kingship, and True Parents' Birthday 1. Transportation: Shuttle buses will begin operations from 5:30 am from the parking lot of the Chung Pyung Training Center 6. Regional presidents, boon-bong-wangs, national messiahs and oversea participants should receive tickets to enter Cheon Jeong Gung for events (including Day of Victory of Love) at the 1st floor lobby of the Cheongshim Village from 7:00 pm, February 2, 2011. 3. 28th Day of Victory of Love Celebrations 1. Date: 2nd day of the 1st month in the 2nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 4, 2011), Friday, 8:00 am (Please arrive and be seated by 7:00 am) 2. Details of True Peace and Unity Cheonbok Festival to commemorate True Parents Birthday 1. Date: 1 st day - 7 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi [Heavenly Foundation] by the heavenly calendar (February 3-9, 2011) [Seven days] 2. Venue: Cheon Bok Gung (Unification World Headquarters Church) 3. Cheonbok Holy Salt and Donation 1) Please register at the entrance of the 1 st floor. (1) Please receive a packet after offering a donation (120,000 won per person / 120,000 won times the number of people in the family). (2) The packet should contain a scarf, Cheonbok wish paper, ribbon, Cheonbok candle, container for Cheonbok Holy Salt, and Cheonbok Lantern (for those who make a special contribution). (3) The Cheonbok Lantern will be lit for individuals or organizations that make a contribution of one of the following amounts: 100,000 won, 300,000 won, 500,000 won or one million won. The Cheonbok Lantern is lit in hopes for an ideal world of peace and to inherit Heaven s blessings. 2) The Cheonbok wish ribbon will be affixed in a designated space near the 1 st floor Jeongseong Room. 3) Visitors can inherit Cheonbok Holy Salt at the 3 rd floor Main Sanctuary. 4) Visitors can receive the Cheonbok wish paper and Cheonbok candle at the 1 st floor Jeongseong Room. 5) The Cheonbok Lantern can be lit at a designated location outside the building. 4. Administrative matters 1) Any member (in Korea or abroad) who is unable to take part in the Cheonbok ceremony during this time can receive Cheonbok Holy Salt later by postal mail. (Receiver should cover shipping costs.)

Main programs of the True Peace and Unity Cheonbok Festival 1) Cheonbok Ceremony (1) Meaning: Cheonbok Ceremony is a ritual for beginning the new heavenly calendar within the blessings of True Parents and four great saints. Through the Cheonbok Ceremony we can purify ourselves and establish the proper relationship with True Parents. By going beyond religion and race and offering jeongseong and prayer to True Parents, we can receive heavenly blessings and resolve to inherit the true love of God and True Parents during the New Year. (2) Date: 1 st day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar, (February 3, 2011), Thursday, 3:00 pm (3) Venue: Main Sanctuary, Cheon Bok Gung (4) This ceremony is open to any member who wishes to participate. (5) Program 1 Part 1: Interfaith Prayer Ceremony - During this ceremony representatives of each religion shall come to the stage and give their blessings to the participants. 2 Part 2: World Peace Seunghwa Ceremony - Rev. Hyung Jin Moon will officiate over a Seunghwa Ceremony for the fallen heroes and deceased patriots who gave their lives for the re-unification of North and South Korea. 3 Part 3: Inheritance Ceremony for Cheonbok Holy Salt - Representatives of each religion shall combine the soil that was brought from the birthplace of the four great saints, and mix it with holy salt. True Parents will sanctify this and give their benediction. - This ceremony is to allow participants to inherit Cheonbok Holy Salt. It symbolizes the jeongseong and heavenly fortune of the four great saints centering on True Parents being inherited in each participant s family. The inheritance ceremony will be held two times a day during the six-day period from the 2 nd day to 7 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 4-9, 2011) for members who were unable to participate in the main ceremony. 2) Cheonbok Arts Festival (1) A variety of cultural performances and experiential programs to return glory to God and True Parents will be organized along with an inter-religious performance and exhibitions that will serve as a venue to promote understanding and exchange between religions. (2) Date: 2 nd day - 7 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 4-9, 2011) (3) Venue: Designated areas within Cheon Bok Gung (4) This program is open to any member who wishes to participate.

Inter-religious performance - Date: 4 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 6, 2011), Sunday, 4:00 pm - Venue: 3 rd floor Main Sanctuary - Details: Cultural performance by members of the four great religions iii. 1 st Unificationism Choir Contest - Date: 5 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 7, 2011), Monday, 4:00 pm - Venue: 3 rd floor Main Sanctuary - Details: Choir performance by choir teams that won in the contest 3) Jeongseong Training and Sharing Training (1) To reflect upon the significance of the New Year on the occasion of God and True Parents birthday and to set the tradition of beginning the New Year with hoondok and full-bow jeongseong. Through the Sharing Training, participants can inherit True Parents spirit of seven deaths and resurrection and completion of eight stages that they exhibited amid suffering and adversary for the sake of God and humankind, and to convey the spirit of true love to one s neighbors. (2) Jeongseong Training 1 Date: 1 st day - 7 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 3-9, 2011) 2 To be conducted in each person s home and at each church. 3 Main Content i. Each family should conduct a special hoondokhwae ii. Offer a 120 full-bow jeongseong each day iii. Holy Spirit Healing Service will be held at 7:30 pm everyday at the Main Sanctuary of Cheon Bok Gung. (3) Sharing Training 1 Date: 4 st day and 7 th day of the 1 st month in the 2 nd year of Cheon-gi by the heavenly calendar (February 6 and 9, 2011) 2 To be conducted at Cheon Bok Gung and each church
3 Main Content i. To identify sustainable volunteer service activities, carry them out at each church and local area, and develop plans to practice true love for one s neighbor. ii. One representative way of sharing is to donate blood. On one day (February 6) in the first week of the Cheonbok Festival, visitors will be able to donate blood at Cheon Bok Gung.
