PRAISE AND PRAYER *SONG Creation Sings the Father s Song 1. Creation sings the Father's song He calls the sun to wake the dawn And run the course of day Till evening falls in crimson rays His fingerprints in flakes of snow His breath upon this spinning globe He charts the eagle's flight Commands the newborn baby's cry Hallelujah Let all creation stand and sing Hallelujah Fill the earth with songs of worship Tell the wonders of creation's King 2. Creation gazed upon His face The ageless One in time's embrace Unveiled the Father's plan Of reconciling God and man A second Adam walked the earth Whose blameless life would break the curse Whose death would set us free To live with Him eternally 3. Creation longs for His return When Christ shall reign upon the earth The bitter wars that rage Are birth pains of a coming age When He renews the land and sky All heaven will sing and earth reply With one resplendent theme The glory of our God and King 2008 Thankyou Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) CCLI License # 2246165

*SONG Praise the Father, Praise the Son 1. O sov'reign God O matchless King The saints adore the angels sing And fall before the throne of grace To You belongs the highest praise 2. SERMON Rev. George Ragsdale RESPONSE TO GOD S WORD PRAYER OF INTERCESSION After each petition we enter into the prayer together with these words: Lord, in your mercy, Hear our prayer. INVITATION TO THE LORD S TABLE PRAYER OF CONFESSION O God, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen: You place us in your creation, and you command us to care for it. Your works declare glory and splendor, and you call us to praise and reverence. Where we have degraded or destroyed earth's bounty, forgive us. Where we have taken beauty and majesty for granted, have mercy upon us. Where we have become estranged from the creatures with whom we share this planet, grant us your peace. Renew us in the waters of baptism, refresh us with the winds of your spirit, and sustain us with the bread of life. In the name of Jesus Christ, and for the sake of the new creation, we pray. Amen. WORDS OF ASSURANCE In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven! Glory to God. Amen. As a forgiven and reconciled child of God, you are invited to give your offerings and gifts to God by placing them in the offering plate when you come forward to receive communion. THANKSGIVING AND COMMUNION *TAKING THE BREAD AND CUP *THE GREAT THANKSGIVING The Lord be with you. And also with you. Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord

Amen. *THE LORD S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. *BREAKING THE BREAD SHARING THE BREAD AND CUP Music During Communion Holy, Holy, Holy PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us. The splendor of the King Clothed in majesty Let all the earth rejoice All the earth rejoice He wraps Himself in light And darkness tries to hide And trembles at His voice And trembles at His voice How great is our God Sing with me How great is our God And all will see how great How great is our God 2.
