Lake County Radio Control Club Officers election Happy to report that people did indeed step up and we have our full complement of officers. President: Gary Fine Shakin epoxyone@aol.net VP/Safety Director: Jay Imroth crazydoodle1@sbcglobal.net Treasurer: Chuck Smith crolsmi@aol.com Secretary: Bill Rago recumbentmister@gmail.com Field Director: Glenn Learnahan bowing@comcast.net Events Director: Arlan Red Matson matsonamat3@aol.com FlyPaper Editor: Jack Cutrone cutrone.john@gmail.com Thanks to all the new officers and to those who volunteered to continue to serve. RADIO CHATTER Flypaper invites your contributions. If you get a new aircraft, or do something of which you are proud, or have a... uh...uh... learning experience with a plane or heli, or anything good or noteworthy to share, let Jack Cutrone know and he will write it up in the next Flypaper. His email and phone number appear in the masthead at the top. December 11, 2016 Indoor Fly This writer was unable to participate and hence no pictures, but we are told that, as always, it was well attended and everyone had a good time (despite a crash or two.) Old Friend Bill Lewis appears to have landed happily in Tennessee. He wrote to Chuck Smith who shared it with Flypaper: We painted and fixed up the house in Pleasant Prairie and sold it in one day. We camped at Bong Recreation in Kenosha County for a month and headed south pulling our camping trailer the wife following with the 3 cats. We are staying at my daughter in law s empty house up in the mountains in Kingston, Tennessee until about April. Temporary home at daughter in law's

Bill's new home We bought a double wide in Loudon Tennessee that's about 500 feet from the Tennessee River. It's on a 1/2 acre of land and has a front and back deck and breeze way to the garage. It's a smaller and simpler house which is what we were looking for. Our neighborhood is sort of like a simple resort area. Most neighbors get around here on golf carts. There's about 50 houses in our community. We are going through the entire house replacing carpeting with tile and complete paint and appliances. We usually start out the day with a visit to "Master Donuts" for coffee and my favorite, double chocolate chip donut, before going to the house. Everything seems to be going well with no unexpected surprises. Joined a flying club called Harriman Eagles. [Editor s Note that didn t take long, not surprisingly.] There's about 50/60 members and a nice field about the size of your main run way. They all fly smaller planes and were amazed at the 330 Extra. They liked my style of flying and loved the prop rip so I really opened it up. They had an event in the fall and raised $1000 and donated it all to the children's help fund. There are also clubs in Oak Ridge and Knoxville. Bill s new club, the Harriman Eagles field

Harriman Eagles' Shelter Please keep in touch. Wishing You A Merry Christmas and A Happy New year Bill Lewis Happened to see a bumper sticker that seemed appropriate especially given the recent temperatures, winds and wind chills, (not to mention a mental review of the club membership.)
