At Creations Class This class was exciting for the girls. They learned a lot of new fun and unique techniques! When they were asked if they had ever decoupaged before, the majority of the class hadn't. This made it exciting for the teacher to teach them something they had never done before, and to those that had, a different way than normal. The mixed media canvas was a blast for the students; throwing stuff here, and there, and rushing to get done. Most importantly, for them to have the Word applied to their canvas. They were immediately intrigued once the quote was passed out and they realized they would have their own portion of the Word to hang in their room. This project had everything to do with the Word. The background consisted of copies of the map and Brother Branham's prayer in our anniversary Bible. The foreground had the most important part, the quote! They worked hard at it for three hours, and some of the girls even had to take it home! They left with glue and paint on them, and smiles at what the Lord helped them create. W2
Class Name: Canvas Art Project: decorating a canvas Scripture: 1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Matthew 4:1-11 Lesson: When you give your heart to the Lord, it isn t a picnic. Satan is right there and he will try to do anything he can to tempt you and get you to doubt the Word, and sin. But God knew that and He equipped you with the greatest Tool to defeat the lies of the devil, His Word. Whenever you re going through a hard time, and satan is tempting you to do wrong, remember Jesus was tempted too. He went through everything you are going through, but He overcame it with the Word; for us. He is THE example to look to! The Canvas is a motivator/reminder to read a chapter every morning and night. Especially when satan tries to tempt you to not do it. Some excuses may be, You are too tired, The next chapter might be really long, You won t get enough sleep, or You woke up too late. You can look to the Word that you have applied on the canvas, and say It is written! And it s an encouragement to know what God has told us through His prophet Brother Branham, because God equipped us with so much to be ready for His soon coming! Quote Applied on Canvas: How many reads the Word daily? Let s see your hands. Oh, that s wonderful. Just start right in and make a a habit of reading a chapter every night before you go to bed, and a chapter every morning just as you get up. And oh, it just don t take no time till you just You know the Holy Spirit feeds on the Word of God, and it s good for you to read. Rev. William Marrion Branham 57-0325 The Lamb And The Dove W3
Quote played in class: And we find Jesus on earth, just to prove this was the best equipment, when Satan come in hand-to-hand combat with Jesus, He never just reached over with His Power and tied his hands. He just took the same weapon that God gave in the garden of Eden, His Word, and said, It s written It s written And He punched him right out of the ring, with It, that s right, because It s God s best. And look where it is. It s not just for one or two, in a church. It s for every one of us. Every believer has a right to take this Word and fight the enemy anywhere you meet him. Anywhere you meet the enemy, this Word is what you have to use. And Jesus proved it when He come. So He equipped His children with the Word, for their protection against the enemy. When the all-out warfare comes, and the battles, and set in array, then there s only one thing a real soldier can use, a real Christian soldier, that s THUS SAITH THE LORD. Walk right out there and meet the enemy, with the assurance that nothing Thousand may fall at your right, and ten thousand at the left, but it won t come nigh thee. Just remember that God made this statement, and give This to His children, and It s the best that s ever been yet. Rev. William Marrion Branham 62-0531 The Conflict Between God And Satan W4
