THE POWER TO MAKE WEALTH PART 1 Thy Kingdom come on earth, Thy will be done as it is in heaven. Christ Revealed, Church Reformed, City Rebuilt One of the most amazing stories is the story of Elijah and there will be no rain except by his word. So many things are going on. At the end of the chapter, Elijah prayed and asked the servant to have a look to see if there s any sign of the rain. First time there s nothing. Elijah continued to pray and the servant went to see the second time and still nothing. By the seventh time, the cloud is coming like a feast. The 3 and half years is coming to an end. The word of God that has been spoken 3 and half years ago will come to pass. Just like a woman giving birth, the doctor can see the hair of the baby. This is not the time to relax but the time to push because the baby is not out completely. There are signs but that s the not the fulfillment. Before the year is over, the Kingdom is coming down and the kingdom of men will be arrested. We will see amazing change taking place. The atmosphere will turn around like never before. The church is already rising and that s why these things are happening. The church rises to challenge the kingdom of this world. When each one of us rises up, we can make a difference. We must keep praying and pushing and something will happen in the 3 months. God will do things in a special way. Some major things will erupt in our nation but God will turn things around. Don t fear what will happen and what is happening. Put our head between our legs and continue to pray. The sound and smell of rain is getting nearer. From here we will change nations and lives. Things that God is speaking to us are affecting nations everywhere. It s not about how long we have been in church but it s about what we have been receiving and working it in our lives. When we move, things will change. We don t need to demonstrate or quarrel. We must rise in our lives before God. If we champion the course of God a lot of things in Malaysia will change. Keep praying and watching and hearing. When the rain fully comes, nothing will stop. Deu 8:18 "But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. God is giving us the power to make wealth. 1. The power to make wealth comes from God. It is not because we go to the business school, not because we are smart, not because we have a business, etc. It is God. And because of this we must be continuously connected to Him. When He blessed us, we must know how to return and use it well. Pray, seek His face, read the bible, go to church, go to the cell group, etc. The stronger we are connected to God, the more power will flow. The same Holy Spirit will help us. We don t look to others. The power is not in the bank or borrowing money. God gives us power so that we can make money, acquire wealth, accumulate possessions, to make the right deal, buy the car that will destroy us tomorrow, buy a house that will be a blessing and show us how to do a business. If this power is working, we will be free from anxiety and tension. When people are lack of this power, they are confused and have unnecessary pressure and stress and keep trying to find out what to do. The reason we are 1 1

going through this; fear, stress, anxiety, poverty mentality, etc all the time is because the power is not working in us. Deu 8:2 "You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. 2. God will release power and entrust wealth to those He has tried and train and tested their heart God will entrust wealth into our hands. You never give the job to somebody unless you are trained well. No father will give a car to the children if they do not know how to drive. God will test us and try and train us and when we pass the test, He will release the power to make wealth. God has the right to test us. He will give us some money, job, career and if continually stumble and fall and worship the idols of this world, we cannot be trusted. That s why we must win the test in finance at all cost. God will try us and test us in small things. If we cannot pass in the small things, God will never give us big things. If we believe God will give us more, then be tested and get it right. God has the right to test us. 3. The power to make wealth is transferred to us and released in us by God s proceeding word Poverty can be transferred and abundance can be transferred. If we have breakthrough, our children can breakthrough. If we suffered, our children will suffer too because we don t have the power to breakthrough. God has to speak to us. If God says it, we will have it and nobody can stop it. Whether we are in a poor environment, different country, etc as long as God has spoken to us, it will happen. People can rise not just because of desire but it is because God has spoken to us. Deu 8:2 "You shall remember all the way which the LORD your God has led you in the wilderness these forty years, that He might humble you, testing you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not. Deu 8:3 "He humbled you and let you be hungry, and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD. How does the power work and unlock the power? When there was no earth, God spoke the earth to being. He spoke the word and light came. God has to speak to us. Keep listening to what God is saying and let Him speak to us. Make it happen and be obedient. When we start working with the proceeding word, we can live and multiply and go in and possess the land. When God made His intentions known, He wants us to walk to in the straight and narrow and obey Him. When this power is unlocked, whatsoever we do we will prosper. We will not just proper in business. We will prosper as a father, a son, etc. We will not just have profit in one month and not profit for the next few months. We will have profits every month. Don t go into business if we don t want to make money. There are all kinds of taxes and expenses. We must find ways to make the resources. But we don t have to stop living if we know how to create the cycle of wealth continuously. If His word does not work in our heart, it will not trigger this power. There will be no change reaction. He wants us to prosper and blessed for the right reasons. 2 2

4. The power to make wealth is guided by the Spirit righteousness God wants us to make money in the righteous way. God does not want us to make money and be crooked. Money will reveal who we are. When God gives us money that can fulfill all our desires and meet all our needs, that s when we have to be careful or else we will buy things we don t need. Deu 8:6 "Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. If we want this power to work, we must guide it with righteousness. If we have a wrong spirit, the power to make wealth will die. We are careful today because of tomorrow. If we are not careful today, tomorrow will be gone. That s why a lot of people have much now but do not know what to do. God bless us so that we can become a model of righteousness. Don t break the rules and principles. If we play the game by wrong rules, we disqualify ourselves. Set apart our money for tithe and offering first. Do God s things first and all things will be well. The more we give back to Him and sow back to Him in the spirit, from the spirit also we will reap. If we don t owe God, God will not owe us and will not allow anything to steal from us. Don t let money lead us, we lead money. God must discipline us on how far we go, what we do, how we spend and paying back. All must be guided by righteousness. 5. The power to make wealth is the major way to fulfill His faithfulness as our Provider God is our Provider. How does He provide? He helped us pay bills and rent by putting the power to make wealth into our hands so that we know how to bring in the supply. We must not be just waiting for the money to come. God gives us the power to make wealth to receive the supply. God won t just give us the money and we use up the money and then wait for more. This is entitlement mentality. This is the way we can see God s supply. We must teach our children how to generate fund so that they can have their own resources for their own lives and studies and future. Teach them how to raise their own money up. God is a Provider but instead of providing us all the time, He puts the power to make wealth into our lives so that at any time, we can have the resources. If the power is working well, the car will be going somewhere. If the power does not work, the car will be stuck halfway. This power can be lost because of careless living. If we live careless life, we will spend the money and waste the money. This power to make wealth will stop. Deu 8:19 "It shall come about if you ever forget the LORD your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish. Deu 8:20 "Like the nations that the LORD makes to perish before you, so you shall perish; because you would not listen to the voice of the LORD your God. How we handle our money is important because that s how we keep the power. The power to make wealth can only be maintained by righteousness. Follow the instruction, word, procedure, 3 3

fulfill conditions, meet requirements and the power to make wealth will stay. We can start small but it will grow. 6. We receive the power to make wealth because He is confirming the word that God has given to the fathers. The fathers are important because when the fathers obey the Lord, the next generation will be blessed. Somebody above us heard from God and they secured the covenant and relationship. They met with God and transact with God. Because they touch God, God s promise didn t just touch God but also their descendants and the next generation. If we live carelessly, the first people that will suffer is our children. We don t want the power to make wealth be lost in one generation. Abraham heard God and listened to God and obeyed God, Isaac was blessed, Jacob was blessed and Joseph blessed the whole nation. Our children don t need to live in less and they can be free. This generation must pay the price to break the curse and poverty. Then our next generation will be blessed. Whatever that is a breakthrough is Papa s life can happen in our lives. 7. The power to make wealth is released by faith actions Deu 8:7 "For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills; Deu 8:8 a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; Deu 8:9 a land where you will eat food without scarcity, in which you will not lack anything; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper. Deu 8:10 "When you have eaten and are satisfied, you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you. We can give thanks and do what He wants and do the right things. Deu 8:12 otherwise, when you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them, Deu 8:13 and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold multiply, and all that you have multiplies, Deu 8:14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. God is good and He brings us into good lands and build houses and multiply our flocks. All the blessings increase because we do the right thing. If we do the wrong thing, the supply will be lost. When our heart become proud and do whatever we want, the power will be lost. Deu 8:17 "Otherwise, you may say in your heart, `My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.' Keep doing what God wants us to do. When we prosper, don t change God. Don t say suddenly we are the one doing it and never follow God s way. Most people failed in this way. Most people when they have small business, they are ok. But when the business grew bigger, they forgot God. When we don t have we are desperate and need God to help us. When we prosper, the heart frequency changed and don t feel for God anymore but money. If we forget the Lord and serve others, we will start to lose. This is one reason why a lot of people don t do well. The things that we want to do for God is fixed and must not change regardless we are sick, healthy, poor or rich. We cannot change the rule just because we have prospered. When we go up higher, we must be 4 4

steadier. When we go up high, that s when we can fall. When the power of God works in our life, don t change rule. Otherwise God cannot trust us. A lot of things can happen because of us being fixed in God. A lot of people have concerns of money and we need money. This is how we meet our needs. But never change the rules or we will cut short the power. God will open up supernatural doors where with just one person and one contract some things can happen. Areas we need to guard 1. Bring our whole tithe to God Serve God with honor. All the income that God placed in our hands, give 10% as tithe. This is an area we cannot negotiate. Why is tithe so important? Mal 3:10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. Mal 3:11 "Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes," says the LORD of hosts. We must now be afraid because God is asking something to test us. If we can win this test all the time, then other things will be settled. We must remember to bring out whole tithe to the storehouse. Storehouse is a place where we can take what we need. If we need prayer, and word, we go to the House of God. The church is like a storehouse to meet God and receive from God. So our tithe is given to the place where the blessing of God is. When we worship God on Sunday, we pour out to Him and give all our strength. To God we sow, from God we will reap also. We treat His Presence with honor. It is in His house we hear His voice. In the House He gave His word, name, Spirit, healing, etc. This is our place of honor when we bring our tithe. God is not asking us to give if it does not work. If we do this to the House which is on earthly, God will build the church. God will also rebuke the devourer; the thief, devil. God will deal with them so that we don t get confused and attacked. We need contract at a certain time but the devil may stop it and cause it to be difficult to get the contract. God will rebuke the devil so that we can receive. We can have less anxiety and worry and help us through. God will cut off all competition so that our shop or business can prosper. Wherever we work, God will pour out the blessing until it overflows. That is why God can be our help by transacting properly. That s why our tithe must be settled well. If God wants to bless us, nothing can stop us. God deserves the honor. We cannot take anything from His honor because God is the King of kings. Don t take His honor but give Him honor with His substance. Don t let circumstances steal His honor. 5 5
