Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Revelation 19:6

We are Easter people! Easter is not only one day for those who bear the name of Christ. Every day of life is full of Easter. When we wake up, we rise with the victorious power of Easter to tackle the day. When we sit down and eat breakfast, we are nourished with more than bread alone, we are nourished with the bread of life. When we step into our daily tasks we are not just filling our days with something to do, or keeping our bills paid, we infect the world with the overwhelming hope of Easter. When we sit down and watch the news and it seems like everything is out of control, we hear that news through the filter of the One whose headline to the world is resurrection. And when we lay ourselves down at night, we are wrapped in the power of the One for whom even the darkness is light. We are Easter people! ~Pastor Jerry Nuernberger TOGETHER IN THE SPIRIT! If you would like more information or have questions, please speak with Karen Disciscio. YOU TOOK MY PARKING SPACE! One day, a man went as a visitor to a church. He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up near by and parked. The driver got out and said, I always park there! You took my place! The visitor went inside for the service, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated, That s my seat! You took my place! The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but still said nothing. Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, and his appearance began to change. His clothing became a simple robe. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his now sandaled feet. Someone from the congregation noticed Him and called out, What happened to you? The visitor replied, as His hat became a crown of thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, I took your place.
