This booklet will be used for the rest of Revelation chapters 21:10-27 Under each verse will be a card to answer questions and cut out and put in the pocket above. Also, under each card to cut out there will be optional verse to read as well. Keep in ind these verses as you go as there is a optional activity at the end to draw the city or you can biuld it with legos or odeling clay if desired. For this pocket booklet: Cut out pocket and fold tabs back and glue into lapbook. Next, answer questions on cards and cut out cards and insert in pocket. Revelation 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her (the holy Jerusale) light was like unto a stone ost precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

In Revelation 21:14, the wall of the city had how any foundations? What was in the? (*Optional: Read Matthew 16:18, Luke 22:29-30 and Ephesians 2:20.) Revelation 21:15 And he (the angel) that talked with e had a golden reed to easure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

In Revelation 21;15, the angel that talked with John had what to easure with? What three things did he easure? 1. 2. 3. (*Optional: Read Ezekiel 40:3 and Zechariah 2:1.) Revelation 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth (width): and he easured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs*. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

In Revelation 21:16, the city lieth what? The length is as large as the what? The angel easured the city with what? The city is how any furlongs? What three things are equal? 1. 2. 3. (*A furlong is approx. 660ft or 220 yards.) Revelation 21:17 And he (the angel) easured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits*, according to the easure of a an, that is, of the angel.

In Revelation 21:17, ( what is the easureent of the wall? According to the what? (*It is hard to know the exact easureent of a cubit. Typically a cubit was easured fro a ans elbow to this longest fingertip although ost scholars suggest a cubit is about 18 inches, it is hard to know exactly because it varied between ancient peo groups. For exa, a Hebrew short cubit was 17.5 inches, Egyptian was 17.6, coon short cubit was 18 inches and Babylonian long cubit was 19.8 inches, Hebrew long cubit was 20.4 inches and Egyptian long cubit was 20.6 inches.)

Revelation 21:18 And the building (construction) of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. In Revelation 21:18, the building of the wall was of what? The city was what? Like unto what?

Revelation 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all anner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an eerald; Revelation 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte (chrysoprase); the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an aethyst. In Revelation 21:19-20, nae the 12 precious stones the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. (*Optional: Read Exodus 28:17-20 and Isaiah 54:11.)

pphire The gestone, sapphire, that we know today is the blue, translucent variety of corundu. The sapphire gets it s blue color fro sall aounts of iron and titaniun and ranges fro a pale, ice blue to deep cobalt blue. Chalcedony Chalcedony has a waxy luster, and ay be sei-transparent or translucent. It can assue a wide range of colors, but those ost coonly seen are white to gray, grayish-blue or a shade of brown ranging fro pale to nearly black. Eerald Eeralds are the valuable and highly prized grassygreen variety of beryl. Eeralds were well known aong the peo of the Bible lands. One of the earliest known source of eerald were ines located near the Red Sea in Egypt. rdonyx rdonyx is a variety of chalcedony that has alternating bands of reddish-brown and white. Early Roan writers spoke of sardonyx as a ge of great value. rdonyx akes beautiful caeos. Jasper Jasper is an opaque variety of chalcedony (quartz). It is ost coonly red due to the presence of iron, but can also be found in yellow, brown and green. Chrysolyte Known as chrysoprase, chrysoprase is a translucent, bright ap or grassy green variety of chalcedony. The green color coes fro nickle. It is the ost valuable variety of chalcedony. rdius Also called Carnelian, rdius is a translucent, hard, fine-grained variety of orangish red quartz that has often been used for ring stones and wax seals. Beryl Pure beryl is colorless, but it is frequently tinted by ipurities; possible colors are green, blue, yellow, red, and white.

Topaz The topaz of today is a ineral that is coposed of aluinu, silicon, oxygen, and fluorine. It occurs in any colors, including deep goldenorange, yellow, brownish -yellow, pink, red, and various shades of blue. It ay also be colorless. Aethyst Aethyst occurs in priary hues fro a light pinkish violet to a deep pur. Jacinth Jacinth is a derivation of the word hyacinth. Most scholars agree that it was soe kind of blue stone, taking it s color fro the flower. While the picture is of a pphire the stone Jacinth could be siilar. Chrysoprasus Could be the sae as chrysolyte and chrysoprase. Foundation Stones Revelation 21:19-20 The above ge cards are to give you an idea of what these stones ight look like. Although, I a not 100% sure of the cote accuracy, these should give you a good idea of the precious stones entioned in Revelation 21:19-20. Cut out the ge cards and fold in half gluing the together so the picture is on the front and the description is on the back. Let dry. You ay also want to put a dictionary or another heavy book on the while drying so they dry cotely flat. Next, cut out pocket (coloring the ge on the front if desired). Fold tabs back and glue into lapbook. When cards are dry insert into pocket.

Revelation 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several (individual) gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. In Revelation 21:21, the 12 gates were 12 what? Every gate was one what? The street of the city is what? Like transparent what? (*Optional: Read Matthew 13:45-46.)

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no te therein: for the Lord God Alighty and the Lab are the te of it. In Revelation 21:22, John saw no what? What is the te? (*Optional: Read Matthew 24:2 and John 4:21, 23.) Revelation 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the oon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lab is the light thereof.

In Revelation 21:23, the city had no need for what two things? 1. 2. What two things are the light of the city? 1. 2. (*Optional: Read Isaiah 24:23, 60:19-20.) Revelation 21:24 And the nations of the which are saved shall walk in the light of it (the city): and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

In Revelation 21:25, what two things will not happen? 1. 2. (*Optional: Read Isaiah 60:11, 60:20 and Zechariah 14:7.) Revelation 21:26 And they (the kings of the earth) shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

In Revelation 21:26, what shall the kings of the earth bring into the city? Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that deth, neither whatsoever worketh aboination, or aketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lab's book of life.

If you don't like to draw you could also ake a city using odeling clay or legos and take a picture of it to glue into your lapbook.
