Page 3 Trinity Episcopal Church Phone 307-335-5977 Email: trinitylndr@gmail.com Stewardship 2017 Stewardship begins with God s abundance & our response to it. You will be contacted in January by the stewardship team. The annual giving campaign is a time to reflect on the practice of intentional giving so that we live into the generous and abundant life God is calling us to live. Psalm 112 speaks eloquently about the theme of Living Generously. It defines such generous living as being gracious, merciful and righteous. To live in such a way, we are to conduct our lives with justice. Generous living is much more than what we do with our money. We are called to be kind to one another and to all living things. We are called to deal with each other honestly, and to be humble. You are invited to prayerfully consider how you might live life more generously. Please consider how your standard of living lines up with your standard of giving. Think about the impact this community of faith has on your life and the wider community. Pray about God s generosity in your life and then plan on making a pledge that reflects that generosity. Happy and MERRY CHRISTMAS! We started off with a very fun Children s Service. See below for some pictures of the service. The Christmas season is also the season of Advent. Do you have an Advent calendar at home? Does it have chocolate in it? Advent comes from a Latin word that means coming. During Advent we remember the coming of Baby Jesus and we celebrate his birth all month. What fun ways do you celebrate Jesus in your home during the Christmas season? We also want to announce that there will be an informal children s Christmas pageant during the Christmas eve service at Trinity. All children are welcome to be a part of the pageant. Remember: No Sunday school 11, but we will be back 18. We hope you all have a great holiday season! Have a happy Christmas and New Year!
