666 It was a beautiful, but hot day for riding. Linda and I got there about thirty minutes early. I wanted a little time to get to know our members better. Ever notice how many of us eat, meet, stack chairs and hit the road? One of the many Biker funerals I have attended brought me to this point. While sitting there it dawned on me, I never really knew him we spoke when meeting and he once said nice prayer Chaplain. The ride group was late getting there, many of our members left once they found that it was a Poker run and would make several stops. We don t know their reason; maybe their schedule wouldn t allow them that much time. I drew two sixes at New Bern, a Two in Goldsboro and a third six in Clayton. I donated the ninety bucks to the fund raising, laughed and said I don t gamble for the money, The Lord just sent me up here to teach you how to play Poker. Linda laughed and said, look what he had, 666. Let s talk about this 666 from a Bible stand-point. Why do some people get so scared when they see this number? In (Rev.13:15-18) we find it is the mark that people are forced to have in order to buy or sell during the great tribulation period. It is known as the mark of the Beast, verse 18 tells us it is the mark of a man. Now this sounds far-fetched until some bank came up with a number to insert under your skin and a laser sensing device to read it. Wouldn t that make more sense than having to keep up with a credit card? Should we worry about this mark? Will I have to go through that? In (Rev. 4:1) John said he heard a voice in Heaven saying come up hither. John represents those who believe in Jesus. That s my flight coming in right there. Your Chaplain will be gone, I don t care who is wearing 666 on earth. Hope to see you up there.
