Congregational Care Ministry Goals Congregational Care Ministers: We have nineteen persons registered for our first training class of Congregational Care Ministers, (September 11-October 15 ). Following the training, persons will be asked to sign a covenant agreement, which entails the expectations for being a CCM at First United Methodist Church. The Congregational Care Ministers will begin their ministry following the successful completion of the training class and signing the Covenant Agreement. They will serve as "interns" until the official commissioning service. The official Commissioning of CCM's will take place in January 2018.

United Methodist Men: Outreach Ministry Goals Strengthen communication with all age levels of men in the church about how to be more involved. See how UMM can be a communication portal for men to see what s available within the church, the community and the UMM District Support initiatives that men are involve with around the church and look for opportunities to work with other groups like ASP, UMW, Hispanic Outreach, etc. Provide value to men of the church by offering breakfast speakers with information to enhance men s lives Seek opportunities to interact with with young men. Listen to them, discover their needs, offer assistance, mentor, disciple, and build lasting relationships. Promote the growth of new men s small groups.
