The Perfect Cosmos (Copyright OneTruthOneLaw.com 2017) According to God s word, His creation was in a state of perfection a long time ago. Consequently, there was not a single being in the spirit realm that was not joyful. Where were you (Job) when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding (Job. 38:4; Ed. note in parenthesis; NKJV used throughout unless otherwise noted). To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, 7 when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? (Job 38:6-7; emphasis added) In the verse above, the use of stars is symbolic and represents angels (Rev. 1:20b). By adding the descriptive word morning, it refers to the light associated with the dawning of each day. Therefore, the morning stars are angels who are responsible for bringing the light of God s truth to others (Prov. 6:23a; Ps. 119:105). One of these morning stars became known as Jesus Christ. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you (John) these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star (Rev. 22:16; Ed. note in Some of the other scriptures used to describe Christ s position as a morning star include the following, We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts (2Pet. 1:19; emphasis added). But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings (Mal. 4:2a; emphasis added). It was Almighty God s intention that His creation continue in a s state of peace and harmony, even though He foreknew that sin would occur due to the fact that every created being had freedom to make their own choices, (Isa. 46: 9-10; 48:3,5; Ac. 15:18). For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens, who is God, who formed the earth and made it, who has established it, who did not create it in vain (SHD 8414: formlessness, confusion, emptiness, wasteland, place of chaos, vanity), who formed it to be inhabited (Isa. 45:18A; Ed. note in parenthesis; emphasis added). Unfortunately, the state of happiness described in Job 36:7 came to an end when one disgruntled morning star rebelled against Almighty God. How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer (Day Star), son of the morning (morning star)! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations (those under his authority; cf. 2Cor. 4:4; Jn. 12:31)! 13 For you have said in your heart; I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne (symbol of the authority given to him) above the stars (angels; cf. Rev. 1:20b) of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north (Isa. 14:12-13; Ed. notes in When Lucifer was created, he was perfect and without sin. However, over the course of time, he became corrupt.

You (Lucifer) were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity (sin; cf. 1Jn. 3:4) was found in you (Eze. 28:15; Ed. notes in parentheses). According to the following scripture, Lucifer was not content with what he had been given and wanted more, even if it meant harming others to achieve his objective. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned (Eze. 28:16a; emphasis added). The trading mentioned in Ezekiel 28:16 included bargaining and offering a certain amount of power, or authority, in exchange for complete loyalty and obedience on the part of the recipient. This tactic was also used against Jesus Christ, but it resulted in failure for Satan. Again, the devil took him (Christ) up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, All these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me. 10 Then Jesus said to him, Away with you, Satan! For it is written, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve. (Mt. 4:8-10; Ed. note in parenthesis; emphasis added) Following Lucifer s decision to sin against Almighty God, he was given various names that describe his rebellious nature. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil (Adversary; cf. 1Pet. 5:8) and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Rev. 12:9; Ed. note in Those angels that participated in Satan s rebellion are referred to as demons (Mt. 9:34; 12:24; Mk. 3:22; Lk. 11:15, 18-20). The foolish, selfish, and evil actions of these fallen angels resulted in chaos and destruction throughout God s creation. BY THE ABUNDANCE OF YOUR TRADING YOU BECAME FILLED WITH VIOLENCE WITHIN, AND YOU SINNED. Ezekiel 28:16a; emphasis added For My people are foolish, they have not known Me. They are silly children, and they have no understanding (cf. Ps. 111:10; Prov. 9:10). They are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. 23 I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void (SHD 8414; 922; formlessness, confusion, emptiness, wasteland, place of chaos, vanity); and the heavens they had no light (Jer. 4:22-23; Ed. notes in parentheses; emphasis added). It is important to note that Almighty God uses terms like children, people, sons, and men to describe all his created children whether they are in the spirit realm or physical realm. The people and children mentioned in the previous scripture existed prior to God s creation becoming dark. When God s law is absent, there is darkness because God s law is compared to light. For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light (Prov. 6:23a; cf. Ps. 119:105). Therefore, over a period of time, Satan had systematically removed God s law from his area of influence and the effect was darkness. At some point, God acted to restore His law and commandments, and the result was light being seen again. The earth was without form and void (SHD 8414; 922; formlessness, confusion, emptiness,

wasteland, place of chaos, vanity); and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light ; and there was light (Gen. 1:2-3; Ed. note in Consequently, the account in Genesis 1:2ff is not describing the creative activity mentioned in Job 38:4-7. Instead, Genesis 1:2ff is the beginning of a restoration that will not be complete until Jesus Christ finishes all the tasks he has been given. To confirm this, it is important to note that some darkness still existed in Genesis 1:4-5 as opposed to a time in the future when there will be a complete absence of darkness (cf. Rev. 21:22-25). This future scenario coincides with the completion of Christ s work. For He (Almighty God) has put all things under his (Christ s) feet. But when He says all things are put under him, it is evident that He (Almighty God) who put all things under him (Christ) is excluded. 28 Now when all things are made subject to him (Christ), then the son himself will also be subject to Him (Almighty God) who put all things under him, that God (the Father) may be all in all (1Cor. 15:27-28; cf. Eph. 4:6; Ed. notes in parentheses). Jesus Christ s primary work involves the restoration of his Father s law and commandments throughout the spirit and physical realm. Until this is completed, the cosmos will remain imperfect and in a state of decay. For the creation was subjected to futility (because all created beings are allowed the freedom to make choices, and wrong choices lead to a state of futility, Gen. 6:5-6; cf. Rom. 8:7), not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope (God would have preferred that everyone s decisions were in harmony with His law and commandments for their own benefit and ultimate happiness); 21 because the creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption (decay) into the glorious liberty of the children of God (eventually every child of God will have the opportunity to be ransomed from sin, and its consequences [Rom. 6:23], through Christ s work which includes his sacrifice to cover every sin that has been committed, providing each sinner repents; Heb. 9:22, cf. Ac. 2:38). 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now (Rom. 8:20-22; Ed. notes in parentheses; emphasis added). For all that is in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is (in the process of) passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever (1Jn. 2:16-17; Ed. note in Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. 26 They will perish, but You will endure; yes, all of them will grow old like a garment; like a cloak You will change them, and they will be changed (Ps. 102:25-26; emphasis added). Christ uses the church he is building as a beacon of his Father s truth in this dark and deceived cosmos. You (true servants of God) are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp (symbol of God s law and commandments) and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house (Mt. 5:14-15; Ed. notes in parentheses). And he (Christ) said, to you (his disciples) it has been given to know the mysteries (hidden

truths) of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that Seeing they may not see, and in hearing they may not understand (Lk. 8:10; Ed. notes in parentheses). To them (First Covenant prophets) it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us (Christ s Second Covenant servants) they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven things which angels desire to look into (1Pet. 1:12; Ed. notes in parentheses; emphasis added). To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places (Eph. 3:10; emphasis added). Christ s true servants are easily identified by their adherence to the law and commandments of Almighty God. He who says, I know Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word (cf. Mt. 4:4), truly the love of God is perfected in him (1Jn. 2:4-5a; Ed. note in parenthesis). By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not (considered) burdensome (1Jn. 5:2-3; Ed. note in parenthesis). And the dragon was enraged with the woman (symbol of God s church), and went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus (Rev. 12:17; cf. Rev.14:12; Ed. note in parenthesis; emphasis added). There is a cause and effect relationship between rejecting God s word and then experiencing negative consequences. For instance, if a married man with children is murdered, his spouse and children suffer as well as other family members and friends. Also, the opportunity for the murder victim to experience a full life is stolen from him. This is why a loving God gave mankind His law and commandments as well as penalties for breaking them (Ex. 20:13, 15; cf. Gen. 9:6; Lev. 24:17). If they are obeyed, the end result will always be positive. It s a sad state of affairs when Jesus Christ has to enforce his Father s law and commandments in order to benefit all those who insist on breaking them, but that is the future scenario. I will declare the decree: The Lord (Almighty) has said to me (Christ), You are My Son, today I have begotten you. 8 Ask of Me, and I will give you the nations for your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for your possession. 9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter s vessel (if necessary, based on whether they choose to obey or reject God s word). 10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; be instructed, you judges of the earth, 11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son (act of respect for the authority given by Almighty God to Christ), lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little (cf. Ex. 23:20-22). Blessed are all those who put their trust in him (Ps. 2:7-12; cf. 89:31-32, Rev. 2:27, 12:5, 19:15; Ed. notes in parentheses; emphasis added). As mentioned previously, the creative activity in Genesis 1:2 was in response to the devastation associated with Satan s rebellion, and it initiated a progressive restoration of Almighty God s way

of living, which includes how every individual relates to God and their neighbor (Mt. 22:36-40). It will continue until Jesus Christ has ended every form of rebellion against his Father s law and commandments. But to which of the angels has He (Almighty God) ever said: Sit at My right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool (Heb. 1:13; Ed. note in parenthesis). This progressive restoration of God s law and commandments is pictured by the three annual Holy Day periods, which were established for all of mankind (Mk. 2:27). THESE ARE THE FEASTS OF THE LORD, HOLY CONVOCATIONS WHICH YOU SHALL PROCLAIM AT THEIR APPOINTED TIMES. Leviticus 23:4; cf. Leviticus 23:44; Ezra 3:5; emphasis added Three times you shall keep a feast to Me in the year (Ex. 23:14; cf. 23:17; 34:23-24; Dt. 16:16). Within these Holy Day periods are High Days in which no customary work is to be done (Jn. 19:31). This is the same legislation associated with a weekly Sabbath (Ex. 20:8-11). For example, after Christ s return to rule this planet, anyone failing to observe the Feast of Tabernacles will be guilty of sin. And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the Lord strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the sin of Egypt and the sin of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles (Zech. 14:16-19; emphasis added). The Feast of Tabernacles pictures another stage of restoration that will occur following Christ s return and his millennial rule on this planet. This is one of the reasons this festival is mentioned in the book of Zechariah. However, God s other festivals are equally important and are to be obeyed now (see studies: God s Holy Days). These are not the feasts of the Jews, or of Israel. Ownership of these festivals belongs to God alone, and the Sabbaths contained within them require everyone s abstinence from normal work (Isa. 58:13-14). They are to be obeyed by everyone for their ultimate benefit. These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times (Lev. 23:4; cf. Lev. 23:44; Ezra 3:5; emphasis added). Instead of teaching the importance of observing Almighty God s Holy Days, Satan manipulates and convinces his prisoners (Isa. 14:17; 2Cor. 4:4; Rev. 12:9) to indulge in his appointed times, which include Halloween, Christmas, New Year s Day, May Day, Easter, etc. These pagan festivals are an expression of his value system, which is contrary to Almighty God s. They do not teach mankind anything about God s plan of reconciling a fallen creation, which is clearly pictured by the observance of His Holy Days. For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles (pagan religious systems) when we walked in licentiousness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties,

and abominable idolatries (1Pet. 4:3; Ed. note in parenthesis). So, there is a direct connection between a perfect cosmos and obeying God s word willingly. The majority of all created beings have yet to learn this vital lesson, but learn it they will. Christ s life depended on this truth, and he believed in it completely. This is why he was willing to die for it, which made reconciliation possible between every sinner and their heavenly Father. All Rights Reserved (Copyright OneTruthOneLaw.com 2017) Therefore, having been justified by faith (trust in God s word), we (who have repented of sin; Ac. 2:38)) have peace with God (the Father) through our Lord Jesus Christ (whose sacrifice made forgiveness of sin possible; Heb. 9:22). This truth has been known from the time of the First Covenant. Therefore, it is not limited to the teachings of the Second Covenant. Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; 20 But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword ; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken (Isa. 1:18-20; emphasis added). The state of this present evil age cannot be compared to the perfect cosmos that will result when Jesus Christ restrains the Devil, and finishes the last stages of his Father s plan of reconciliation (Gal. 1:4; cf. Rev. 20:1-3). The central feature of this reconciliation involves teaching God s way of life to every one of His children (Isa. 30:20-21).
