Our Vision Who We Are Ministries exists to encourage, empower, and equip women and girls of all ages to expect God, who is able, to do above and beyond what we would ever dare to ask or even dream. What We Believe One God in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit Jesus Christ s deity, virgin birth, sinless humanity, crucifixion, atoning blood, resurrection and ascension to heaven The Bible is God s breathed word Salvation is by grace through belief in Jesus Christ alone Jesus Christ will return to establish His Kingdom on earth The Holy Spirit dwells within us and is given as a seal and a pledge of our inheritance in Christ Jesus Our Story Over the past months, God has been at work in the lives of several women in our community. He has been showing us that multitudes of other women are losing site of the God-given goals and purposes of their own lives due to the circumstances surrounding them. Many of these women may have once known that God had a purpose for them; however they have put it on hold, or even let go of the dream altogether. We have prayed over these burdens, but, it seems that He is willing to use us in the answers to these prayers. We truly believe that He is calling us into an opportunity to speak into the lives of other women who have found themselves in this situation. 2014 Ministries PO Box 904 Hayesville, NC 28904 shedreamsministries.org

Get to Know Our Team Breeze Bettis I am a Dreamer who loves stories and sharing my own. I am a sister, aunt, teacher, and friend. I am co-founder in ministry and have a passion for women and girls of all ages to know their part in this Story is important. I reside in Hayesville, NC and attend Village Church. I love to spoil my nephews, travel, and hang out with my friends. Diana Brown My husband Andrew and I have 4 children, all through adoption. Lilly, 12, came home from Kazakhstan at 12 months. Asher and Will, 9 and 6, came home from Ethiopia in 2010. Ellie, 22 mos, just came home from Ethiopia in March! We also have 5 sponsor children and consider them part of our family as well. I grew up in Clay County and never dreamed God would build my family through adoption, but God had much bigger and better dreams for me than I had for myself. My dream is not only to help orphaned and vulnerable children, but to help others become aware of the orphan crisis that exists today and give them practical ways they can be involved locally and globally. Kristi Cook My husband, Darren and I have three beautiful children, Katy, Mason and Adam. We live in Hayesville, NC, and my husband is the Pastor of Vengeance Creek Church. I have a burden for families, particularly mothers who struggle with their own worth and identity. Being the wife of a pastor, mother of three school aged kids, and a full-time employee, I understand how mothers can reach theend of their rope. My dream is to encourage women, especially mothers, to seek God s will for their lives. I want women to recognize their worthiness, embrace their strengths and weaknesses and use them to be the best they can be. My vision is to help other women understand that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made in the eyes of our God, and that he has created each of us for a purpose! Kelly Crawford Wife of Kevin and mother of three. I knew God had a calling for me at a very early age even though I could not define what the calling was exactly. As I continued to draw, paint, recreate every magazine cover, comic strip, redesign labels and product packages I realized He blessed with me with the gift of art and design. I see things a little differently than others. I want to encourage women of all ages to see the beauty in themselves. To reach for the stars and follow their dreams, to find their gifts and talents and use them to glorify God. Brooke Leatherwood Mother to Amber, Vickie, Kali, Ashlyn & Avery who are My Blessings and wife to my hubby Frank who is My Happy! We live in beautiful Clay County NC where I love to spend time with friends & family. Something God has been teaching me along the way, is that He created me uniquely for two reasons. 1- is to be a wife to my Happy and 2- is to be a mother to my Blessings. Everything else that I do, someone else can and will do better! I don t always do everything right all the time..as I am learning as I grow.. still I pray that my family will one day look back and know that I didn t pretend to have a perfect life, but provide a life filled with love! Because Love over time matters most! Heather Plemmons My husband, Chad, and I, along with our kids, Maggie and Nathan, are members of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he also serves as the Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Education. We are blessed to have been a part of this church family for nearly 15 years and we are excited to see what God is preparing us for in the days ahead. My involvement in stems from my desire to see women discover their God-given spiritual gifts and to see them incorporate them into their lives. 2014 Ministries PO Box 904 Hayesville, NC 28904 shedreamsministries.org

2014 Events Worthy of the Dream Women s Conference The "Worthy of the Dream" women's conference was held on May 17, 2014 at Meadow Grove Baptist Church in Hayesville, North Carolina. This conference was the culmination of the burdens, dreams, and prayers of six women who were linked together by a common desire: to see other women discover God's plan for their lives and live out the gospel as we are instructed to do in Hebrews 12:1-2, let us lay aside every weight and sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, who for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross At the event, we were able to minister to approximately 100 women from Clay, Cherokee, and Towns County. The day consisted of worship, led by Andrew Brown, a main session, and three additional topical break-out sessions. Lunch and a variety of snacks were also provided for the ladies who attended. The fee for this conference was $20 per attendee, which included lunch, printed resources, as well as a t-shirt of the event. Several of our local churches donated time and money to assist us with this event. We are looking forward to what God has planned in the upcoming "Dream" conference next year! Dare 2 Dream Overnight Conference In August we held our first ever Dare2Dream overnight conference for middle school girls at Hinton Rural Life Center in Hayesville, North Carolina. Through this event we were able to reach, encourage and equip nearly 60 girls ranging in age from 10-15. Carrie Hood, an actress local to our area, led each of the four main sessions which dealt with empowering the girls with the gospel and encouraging them to rise above the circumstances of life that can get in the way of living out their God-given dreams. We were also blessed to have access to a phenomenal local Christian group, the Tim Brown Band, to lead in worship each day. During this weekend, we had the opportunity to involve the girls in a local mission, as well as an international mission called Sole Hope, which takes old blue jeans and turns them into shoes for children in Africa that suffer from jigger infestations. We were also able to do some art with girls to have as a keepsake from the weekend. Through the help of many churches, organizations, and individuals, we were able to do this for a cost of only $25 per girl. However, we know that the actual cost was much closer to $75 per child. Churches and individuals were involved with this ministry through meals, materials, and financial contributions. 2014 Ministries PO Box 904 Hayesville, NC 28904 shedreamsministries.org

Don't let fear dictate your decisions. If your vision is God-given, it will most definitely be beyond your ability and beyond your resources. The God who gives the vision is the same God who makes provision. Mark Batterson, Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge 2014 Ministries PO Box 904 Hayesville, NC 28904 shedreamsministries.org
