THE HOLY QUR AN ON OBEDIENCE And they were not commanded but to serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, and being upright, and to observe Prayer, and pay the Zakat. And that is the religion of the people of the right path. 98:6 Hearken; it is to Allah alone that sincere obedience is due. 39:4 O ye who believe! Obey God and obey the Prophet and obey those in authority from among you. 4:60
THE HOLY QUR AN ON OBEDIENCE The response of the believers, when they are called to Allah and His Messenger in order that he may judge between them, is only that they say: We hear and we obey. And it is they who will prosper. (24:52) And whoso obeys Allah and His Messenger, and fears Allah, and takes Him as a shield for protection, it is they who will be successful. (24:53) And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that, if thou command them, they will surely go forth. Say, Swear not; what is required is actual obedience in what is right. Surely, Allah is well aware of what you do. (24:54)
THE HOLY QUR AN ON KHILAFAT Allah had promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious. ( 24:56).
THE HOLY PROPHET (SAW) "Prophethood shall remain among you as long as Allah shall will. He will bring about its end and follow it with Khilafat on the precepts of prophethood for as long as He shall will and then bring about its end. A tyrannical monarchy will then follow and will remain as long as Allah shall will and then come to an end. There will follow thereafter monarchial despotism to last as long as Allah shall will and come to an end upon His decree. There will then emerge Khilafat on precept of Prophethood." The Holy Prophet said no more (Masnad Ahmad)
KHILAFAT AS SECOND MANIFESTATION OF ALLAH S MERCY You should therefore, neither grieve over what I have told you (that the hour of my demise is nigh) nor should you be heart-broken for it is mandatory that you see God's second manifestation. The coming of that manifestation is a lot better for you because it is eternal whose succession will not terminate till the end of days. When I go, Allah will send to you the second manifestation and it will stay with you forever. (Al-Wassiyat, pp. 6-7)
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE KHALIFA To take care of the spiritual, moral, social and intellectualwelfare of his followers To maintain a unified community of righteous people.
THE IMPORTANCE OF KHILAFAT Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) writes in his Tafsir al-kabir: that the concluding words of the ayate Istikhlaf, Whosoever is ungrateful after that, they will be rebellious (24:56) signifies that Khilafat is a great Divine blessing. Without it there can be no solidarity, cohesion and unity among Muslims and therefore they can make no real progress without it. If Muslims do not show proper appreciation of Khilafat by giving unstinted support and obedience to their Khalifas they will forfeit this Divine boon and in addition will draw the displeasure of God upon themselves
OBEDIENCE TO KHALIFA = OBEDIENCE TO ALLAH DISOBEDIENCE TO KHALIFA = DISOBEDIENCE TO ALLAH
HADITH He who obeys me, obeys God; and he who disobeys me, disobeys God, And he who obeys the Amir [i.e., the head of the state], obeys me; And he who disobeys the Amir, disobeys me.
TENTH CONDITION OF BAI AT THE PROMISED MESSIAH (AS) He/She shall enter into a bond of brotherhood with this humble servant of God, pledging obedience to me in everything good, for the sake of God, and remain faithful to it till the day of his/her death. He/She shall exert such a high devotion in the observance of this bond as is not to be found in any other worldly relationship and connection that demand devoted dutifulness.
TENTH CONDITION: Bond established for the sake of Allah Obedience not a choice Obedience without protest of any kind This bond stronger than all others
WHAT IS NIZAME JAMAAT? Nizame Jamaat simply means the administrative system or the organization of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community. It is the system whereby the Khalifatul Masih conveys his message and commands to the body of believers, and by which they are implemented. It includes not only those members entrusted with an office of the Jamaat, but also every single member of the Jamaat.

THE PROMISED MESSIAH (AS) To utter these words (of bai at) is easy, but to do justice to them is hard because Satan is always busy trying to make man careless about his faith. Satan shows the world and its benefits to be within reach, and faith to be distant. In this way, the heart is hardened and each subsequent condition is worse than the previous one. (Dhikr-e-Habib, pp. 436-438)
HADITH Hear and obey even if an Ethiopian slave, whose head is like a raisin, is placed in authority over you. (Bukhari) You are obligated to hear and obey in prosperity and adversity, willingly or unwillingly, and even when you are treated unjustly. (Muslim)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF OFFICE HOLDERS TO NIZAME JAMAAT Opportunity to serve is by Grace of Allah All actions should show humility Suppress anger, overlook faults, pardon others Use gentle counsel to reform Avoid irritability and arrogance Keep a smiling face and cheerful manner Represent the Khalifa with respect
HOW DO WE ACQUIRE A HIGH LEVEL OF OBEDIENCE? By increasing our love and devotion to Allah Love for the Holy Prophet (saw) Love for Promised Messiah(as) and Khalifatul Masih Holding fast to the Rope of Allah
HOLY QUR AN Say, If you love Allah, follow me: then will Allah love you and forgive you your faults. And Allah is most Forgiving, Merciful. 3:32

AND HOLD FAST, ALL TOGETHER, BY THE ROPE OF ALLAH AND BE NOT DIVIDED (HOLY QUR AN 3:104) It is very important, therefore, to understand the concept of rope of God. All the ties of an Ahmadi, be they with the Holy Pro-phet or his Khalifas, or with the Promised Messiah or his Khalifas, they must be built on the foundations of his ties with Allah. If these ties are based on anything else other than the ties with God, then these ties are artificial and meaningless. When a community is so steeped in the love of God that all the wealth in the world cannot take them away from it, it is impossible for such a community to ever forsake God. They live and die for the love of God and can never break these ties. ( Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV)
WE HEAR AND WE OBEY
THE PROMISED MESSIAH (AS) Obedience to the Creator means that in order to make manifest His Honor, Glory and Unity, one should be ready to endure every dishonor and humiliation, and one should be eager to undergo a thousand deaths in order to uphold His Unity. One hand should be ready to cut off the other with pleasure in obedience to Him, and the love of the grandeur of His commandments and the thirst for seeking His pleasure should make sin so hateful as if it were a consuming fire, or a fatal poison, or an obliterating lightning, from which one must run away with all one's power. For seeking His pleasure one must surrender all the desires of one's ego; and to establish a relationship with Him one should be ready to endure all kinds of injuries; and to prove such relationship one must break off all other relationships.
