Perspectives of Change General Assembly and Study Tour Brno, Czech Republic 2015 EAEE (Protestant and Anglican Network for Life-long Learning in Europe) In June 2015 we invite you to join our annual General Assembly and Study Tour. This year we meet in Brno in the Czech Republic. Brno is a wonderful Czech city with a mediaeval centre, you are welcome in Brno from Thursday 25th June to Sunday morning 28th June, 2015. We are guests of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church in the year of remembrance of Reformer Jan Hus, who died 600 years ago. A team of Czechoslovak Hussite Church in Brno developed an interesting programme for these days. Perspectives of change, a title of the study tour reminds us on our historical roots and will focus also on the current situation of adult education in our European churches.

His field of interest is Christological theology. Topic of the lecture: Hus Dilemmas The lecture will be structured in two parts: The first one will deal with the problems of the second Hus life, i.e. how scholars, politicians, churchmen, artists and representatives of society etc. tried to reflect on Hus teaching and life during the next centuries. He is also an editor-in-chief of a journal Church History. He specializes in church history, European history and cultural history in modern times. Topic of the lecture: Transformation of elites in Czech lands after 1918 and after 1989 The speaker will begin with the foundation of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1918.
