Friends Connection Join your church friends and neighbors for a conducted tour of the new Coyle Library on Mar. 23rd at 10:30 am. Meet at the Library at 10:15 am. The tour will be about 1 hour. After the tour we will go to Main St. Deli for lunch at your expense. A count is needed for the Library and for lunch. You may do either activity or both. A sign-up sheet can be found on the post in the gathering area. Guests are welcome. These activities will enable us to get acquainted with folks in our congregation that you may not know. Take-out will be available after the 9:30 and 10:45 services as well as eat-in after the 10:45 service. The menu consists of ½ chicken, baked potato, green beans, roll and dessert. Tickets will cost $10 and will be available after each service in the lobby through April 1st. ALL proceeds will go to support the 12 orphans at Kaendra s Place. Hungry Hearts is in need of a volunteer for the front desk on Friday mornings. We are looking for every Friday, but if you can commit to just 1 or 2 a month that s fine too. PALMS IN THE PARK EASTER EGG HUNT March 25th, 2018, 10:30am Mike Waters Memorial Park S. Second Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201 After our Palm Sunday Service in the park which starts at 9:30 am, we will be having an Easter egg hunt for any children who attended. For that to happen we are asking Sunday School classes, Bible Studies and any other adult groups within FUMC to fill plastic eggs with candy (no nuts please). Bring your eggs that morning. At the park, we will be inviting neighbors and friends to join us in a time of worship, sharing the message, and closing with an Easter Egg hunt. We need your help! First, please pray. For weather. For building bridges with our neighbors. For servants hearts, for those in the 9:30 service. Second, we need prefilled eggs and lots of them. Please fill eggs with candy (no nuts please). Third, tell people. Invite your friends who don t feel comfortable coming to church. Invite people with kids. Share as you serve in Hungry Hearts. Fourth, come. Even if it is not your cup of tea. Come as we invite Chambersburg to worship Christ the King.
