[Mut-ta-fa-qun Alaihi] صلى هللا عليه I heard Allaah s Messenger :رضى هللا عنهما 1266. An-Nu maan bin Basheer saying and Nu maan pointed with his two fingers to his ears What is lawful وسلم is clear and what is unlawful is clear, but between them are certain doubtful matters which many people do not know. Thus, he who guards against doubtful matters keeps his religion and his honor safe, but he who falls into doubtful matters falls into that which is unlawful, just as a shepherd who pastures his animals around a sanctuary, all but grazing therein. Indeed, every king has a sanctuary, and Allaah s sanctuary is His prohibitions. Indeed, there is a piece of flesh in the body, if it is healthy, the whole body is healthy, but if it is diseased, the whole body will be diseased. Indeed, it is the heart. [Agreed upon].
