omoser Notes 7 This eautiful and central salm text in Scriture, set here in resonsorial form, may e used on a numer of occasions in the liturgy for Holy Orders and hrism Mass. It is also relevant to Advent; secifically, it is the roer salm for the ourth Sunday of Advent, Year B. At the heart of this salm is the covenant od made with avid; this covenant is fulfilled today y those who commit their lives to od in faithfulness, trust and hoe. We are drawn more deely into the ermanency of this covenant relationshi in the erson of Mary, whom we celerate in the Season of Advent. In ractical terms, the setting has a numer of ossile uses for various cominations of assemly, cantor, choir (in harmony), accomanied or unaccomanied, with otional instrument and with or without the verses (the refrain itself can e simly and effectively reeated for any liturgical occasion).
