Our Church News Great thanks to all who provided the great chilirama feast last Sunday to all who came and feasted! The Men s Lenten Breakfast will be held at the First Reformed Church this week, March 2 beginning at 7:00 a.m. The Sundays of March 4 and March 11 Jeff Stewart will be presenting a walkthrough of the new church website in Fellowship Hall following worship. If you have an opportunity to go to the site prior to this that would be encouraged and please come with your questions. Also, if you would like please bring your smartphone or laptop so that you can follow along. The website is: www.fremontfcc.org Do you have some costume jewelry you don t use anymore? Women s Fellowship has some great ideas that they need costume jewelry for. If you have some you would like to donate put it on the table by the Women s Fellowship craft supply closet. Empowerment Network thanks the First Congregational Church for the gifts provided for our Christmas Party attended by over 100 people who are recipients of mental health service s in Newaygo County. Your donations helped to make our party a great success. Feeding America: We chose Empowerment Network as our charity to donate to during Christmas. $1,400 was received which equals $27,000 in real food money to purchase food from Feeding America; this amount covers all Feeding America purchases for the whole year. This non-denominational 13 week course offers help and support for the grieving. Each class is special and different, focusing on a DVD featuring grief experts and real-life stories.
