TODAY AT FAITH In morning worship we welcome the Elim Worship Team. Elim Christian Services in Palos Heights, seeks to help people to reach their highest Godgiven potential, positively transforming the lives of their students, their families and the community. Faith has supported and partnered with Elim for many years. Faith Church member, Bob Hooker, is currently a Vice President at Elim. In the morning message we continue in our Building the Household of Faith series by moving forward in the book of Titus. God of course provides in Scripture the blueprint for building His household, the church. In chapter 2 of Titus we see some important details of the divine blueprint. This evening Dr. Derke Bergsma brings the message about an Encounter with Jesus. As we get closer to Good Friday and Easter, may we all meet Jesus in a special way as we focus on His finished work for us. We continue in the period of the church year called Lent. Lent is a 40 day period of preparation and repentance between Ash Wednesday (March 1 this year) and Good Friday and Easter. The 40 days historically does not include Sundays, which are reserved for celebratory worship as the day of resurrection. Following up from last Sunday morning, we are excited to continue together in our 3 for 30 Prayer Initiative! 30 days (from last Sunday to the day after Easter). 3 Things: Church Leadership, Church Health, Church Growth. Join us in prayer now if you haven t yet. More bookmarks are available to help guide your prayers for God s household right here at Faith Church at the sign-up counter and the Welcome Center.
