Come Holy Spirit! Introduction: Holy Spirit, we come to You to implore a deeper awareness of the Seven-Fold Gifts that You gave us when You anointed us at Baptism, at our Confirmation and in our commitment as Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters. For abundance of life in the caring for the Body of Christ, we implore the riches of the Gift of Piety the Gift of Reverence the Gift of Counsel the Gift of Fortitude the Gift of Wisdom the Gift of Knowledge the Gift of Understanding! With these Gifts in mind we sing! Singing of the Veni Creator:
Insightful Praying: Ant: Spirit of the Gift of Piety, You deepen Reverence for God and You mellow over-strictness with self and with others. 1. Spirit of Honor, Your move creation to perceive everyone in God: 2. To perceive the Divine indwelling in everything that exists! 1. Spirit of Honor, Your move humanity to respect tradition and creativity: 2. To reverence God in me, God in them, God in all! 1. We are companions in the journey 2. rather than in competition! 1. Ant: Spirit of the Gift of Fortitude You enable the energy to overcome obstacles and to pursue the difficult good. I 1. Spirit of Strength, You place an unwillingness in Your people to put energy into hostility or anger. 2. To persevere in seeking goodness with no room for fear! 1. Spirit of Strength, You are the true security 2. Who instills true freedom! 1. In Your steadfast truth of love: 2. Make us faithful to Your goodness. 1. Glory to You for the Gift of Fortitude! 2. Now and forever! Amen! jant: Spirit of the Gift of Fortitude You enable the energy to overcome obstacles and to pursue the difficult good.!prayer: I Deepen in us a sense of freedom in pursuing truthfulness and security in building up the goodness of the Body of Your Christ through the Gifts You provide.
A Reading: For those participating in the mission of God, the Gift of Wisdom provides God's view of events, God's view of situations, God's view of things; the Divine perspective on reality. Wisdom provides a keen perception of the Divine Presence at work, even in very tragic and painful circumstances. Because God is not aloof (but rather) is at work in all, peace permeates minds and hearts. The revelation of God's incomprehensible nature instills faith, trust and assurance in God's transforming activity and reign in the Kin-dam! Blessed be God the Holy Spirit for You visit us with the unconditional Knowledge, the experience of Your infinite goodness. Because only You can satisfy our hunger and our thirst, You fulfill in us the mercy promised to our ancestors, remembering Your covenant. We long for happiness and You come to encourage us, not to condemn! And so we turn to Your Knowledge, the experience of Your infinite ways of goodness, that prepares the ways of peace! Final Prayer: God Holy Spirit, In the awareness of Your favor in giving us Your Seven-Fold Gifts. we experience Your boundless Triune Presence.! Enable us to tap the riches of these Gifts in favor of the growth of the Body of Christ and the fulfillment of Your Kin-dom, the new earth and the new heaven. This we ask through Your Blessed Trinity! Amen! Amen!
