(Psalm 122:1-2) People: For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Psalm 122:9) People: Minister: They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. O Lord, I love the habitation of your house, and the place where your glory dwells. People: But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him. (Habakkuk 2:20) Minister: People: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14) O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things! I will sing of loyalty and of justice, to you, O Lord, I will sing. (Psalm 98:1,4) The Hymn of Praise......Sis. Anitra Gassett/Sis. Kayla Jenkins A.M.E. Hymn #299 - O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee 1. O Master, let me walk with Thee in lowly paths of service free; Tell me Thy secret; help me bear The strain of toil, the fret of care. 2. Help me the slow of heart to move by some clear, winning word of love; teach me the wayward feet to stay, and guide them in the homeward way. 3. Teach me Thy patience, still with Thee in closer, dearer company, In work that keeps faith sweet and strong, In trust that triumphs over wrong. 4. In hope that sends a shining ray Far down the future's broadening way, In peace that only Thou canst give, with thee, O Master, let me live. Amen The Invocation......Sis. Connie Mills/Sis. The Responsive Scripture..... Sis. Rose Schofield/Sis. Andrea Smith John 15:9-17New International Version (NIV) LEADER: 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. PEOPLE: 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father s commands and remain in his love. LEADER: 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. PEOPLE: 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one s life for one s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. LEADER: 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. ALL: 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit fruit that will last and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other. The Preface to the Decalogue........(in the tune of #258) From all that dwell below the skies, let the Creator s praise arise; let the Redeemer s name be sung, through every land by every tongue. The Summary of the Decalogue. Sis. Nia Jones/Sis. Zaire Carmichael And Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.
