The Chiming of the Hour The Welcome and News of the Church WE GATHER BEFORE GOD The Prelude 8:15 Christ, Our True Light W. Leupold 10:45 - Just As I Am Carrie Emerson and Fred Gerstacker *The Call to Worship Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the people with equity and guide the nations upon the earth. Let all the peoples praise you, O God; let all the people praise you. The earth has brought forth its increase; God, our God, has blessed us. Let all the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you. *The Hymn No. 480 Open My Eyes, That I May See *The Prayer of Confession Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart and mind and strength. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. In your mercy forgive what we have been, help us amend what we are, and direct what we shall be, so that we may delight in your will and walk in your ways, to the glory of your holy name. Through Christ, our Lord Amen. *Silent Prayer of Confession *Assurance of Pardon *The Response The Gloria Patri Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen WE GIVE TO GOD The Children s Message The Mission Statement The Presentation of our Tithes and Offerings The Offertory 8:15 Just As I Am Carrie Emerson and Fred Gerstacker

10:45 All Things Bright and Beautiful P.Stopford *The Response The Doxology Praise God from who all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly hosts; Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Amen. *The Prayer of Dedication *The Hymn No. 603 In Christ There is No East or West The Pastoral Prayer and the Lord s Prayer WE LISTEN TO GOD S WORD The Scripture Readings: Old Testament Psalm 67 page 902 New Testament Revelation 21:1-2, 15-27; 22:1-5 page 1937 Leader: The Word of the Lord People: Thanks be to God The Sermon The Healing of Nations Rev. Debbie Smith WE RESPOND TO GOD S WORD *The Affirmation of Faith: The Apostle s Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; he descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. *The Hymn No. 621 For the Healing of the Nations *The Benediction *The Benediction Response (10:45) May the Road Rise to Meet You The Postlude Praeludium in C J.S. Bach
