M Y L I F E P R O J E C T WHO AM I? 21 APRIL 2013 CLASS #1 INTRODUCTION: May Allah protect us from committing shirk and all bounties and favors are from Allah. Today we will start our new project, My Life Project which is one of the biggest blessings Allah has bestowed upon us. When Allah has made it easy for us to undertake this project, then this of itself is a great mercy from Allah. This life project will be based on the words of Allah (kalam Allah), and not from someone else, so the impact and effect is greater when it is coming from the source. So what is the objective of this entire project?? TO REACH ALLAH Every good deed in your life is like a project, and you want Allah to accept it from you. So you need to do it for the sake of Allah in order for the deeds to reach Allah.

AS WE BEGIN THIS PROJECT, WE START WITH: And say: My Lord! Let my entry be good, and (likewise) my exit be good. And grant me from You an authority to help me. Al Isra a 80 Whenever you begin your entry, you want to enter with truth, and when you exit, you want a truthful exit. And we cannot do anything without the help, power, and ability of Allah. This life project consists of five parts and the first part is WHO AM I? In order to answer this question The Reality of the Human is in the Quran, just as Allah has described us

Let us see how Allah has described us in the Quran, and no one can describe us best except for our Creator Allah. And the human was created weak. Surah Nisa a 28 is the first place in the Quran that the human is mentioned, and the human is mentioned as weak. The strategy for this part of the project is to trace every time the human is mentioned in the Quran. So prepare yourself as we embark on this lifetime project, and have your pen and paper and folder ready Allâh wishes to make clear (what is lawful and what is unlawful) to you, and to show you the ways of those before you, and accept your repentance, and Allâh is All-Knower, All-Wise. An Nisa a 26 Allâh wishes to accept your repentance, but those who follow their lusts, wish that you (believers) should deviate tremendously away (from the Right Path). An Nisa a 27 Allâh wishes to lighten (the burden) for you; and man was created weak An Nisa a 28

WHO AM I? WE ARE WEAK: MAN WAS CREATED WEAK (ما هو الضعف ) WEAKNESSES? WHAT ARE THE Weak in structure البنية) :(ضعف our eyesight, we cannot see all types of colors, your ears cannot hear everything, you get tired. Weak in will power االرادة) :(ضعف not everything that we will, will happen. Even to reach our goals, it is not easy. Weak in determination العزيمة) :(ضعف remembering how low and weak we are, our determination cannot always last. Weak in faith االيمان) :(ضعف when Allah tells us we are weak, we have to confess that we are weak, even in faith. Weak in patience الصبر) :(ضعف we can lose patience. Weak in dealings and reactions في التصرف و االدراك) :(ضعف we cannot handle our reactions, we are in constant struggle between our mind and emotions, we are unable to stop or avert our emotions. Weak in self-control في ملك نفسه و السيطره عليها) :(ضعف it is very difficult to control ourselves. :(لماذا الضعف ) WEAK? WHY DID ALLAH CREATE US Allah creates us weak so that our weakness can push us to go to Allah. If Allah did not create us weak, then no one would go to Allah, and Allah wants us to go to Him. Allah created us weak in order to return to Allah, and be happy. Without returning to Allah, then we cannot achieve happiness. The more you go to Allah, the stronger you will become. Subhan Allah. OUR WEAKNESS IS A WAY TO PUSH US TO ALLAH WHAT DOES ALLAH WANT FROM US? AND IT IS WHAT WE WEAK ONES NEED. ( :(و هو الذي تحتاجه ايها الضعيف يريد هللا ماذا From Surah An Nisa a 26: 1. Allah wants to show us ( ل ك م :(ل ي ب ي ن Allah wants to make the path clear to us, and wants to show us the truth from falsehood. We are weak and we need Allah to make clear to us all that we need. Allah shows us all that we need to know from truth and falsehood, and from what is (جميع ما تحتاج اليه من الحق و الباطل و الحالل و الحرام ( forbidden. permissible and what is 2. Allah wants to guide us ( :(و ي ہد ي ڪ م we are weak to choose the path of guidance, so we need Allah the Most Strong to guide us to the Straight Path. We want to be guided to the path of the righteous, of the Messengers we want the best path. The path that Allah favored His blessings upon them. 3. Allah wants to guide us to repent and accept our repentance ع ل يك م ) :(و ي ت وب Allah guides us to repent and He is the One who accepts the repentance. We are weak, but what makes us

strong? When Allah guides us to repent and when Allah accepts our repentance. When we are truthful and we are weak, Allah will guide us to repent, and this is what will give us strength. So Allah: (التوفيق للتوبة ( repent Guides us to (قبول التوبة ( repentance Accepts our Allah is the All-Knower and All-Wise, so Allah knows who is truthful and who is worthy to be guided to repentance. From Surah An Nisa a 27: 1. Allah wants to guide us to repent and accept our repentance ع ل يك م ) :(و ي ت وب we see that this is being emphasized again in ayah 27. Allah wants to pardon us, we are weak, and we can t get that pardoning by ourselves. و ي ر يد ٱل ذ ين ي ت ب ع ون ( too Those who follow their desires, want others to follow their desires There are people inviting others to follow their desires. When :(ٱلش ہ و ٲت أ ن ت م يل وا م يال ع ظ يم ا you do whatever you want, it will make you weaker and weaker. So Allah is clarifying to you what you need, He wants to guide you, but don t be weak by following your desires or other s desires. What makes us even weaker? Following our desires From Surah An Nisa a 28: 1. Allah wants to lighten our burden ( ي خ ف ف ع نك م :(أ ن Allah wants to make the religion easy for us, don t make it hard on yourself. A person becomes weak when he makes the religion difficult upon himself. He thinks he is strong, but he is making himself weak in reality. Allah made the religion easy and light for us because we are weak. Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) never made the religion difficult on himself.

SUMMARY: ALLAH OUR CREATOR IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN TELL US EXACTLY WHO WE ARE WE ARE CREATED WEAK, SO ALLAH WANTS TO: 1. Make things clear to us, show us truth from falsehood, and tell us what is allowed and what is forbidden 2. Guide us to the straight and correct path. 3. Guides us to repent and to accept our repentance 4. Lighten our burden by not making the religion difficult on us BUT WHAT WILL MAKE US EVEN MORE WEAK? 1. Deviation by following desires 2. Making the religion too difficult WE NEED TO REALIZE THAT WE ARE WEAK AND WE NEED ALLAH TO MAKE US STRONG Even if you think you are strong, you still need to go back to Allah The Most Strong. The real strength is when you realize that you are weak and that you can only get strength from Allah The Most Strong. We are talking about our reality in order to truly believe that: There is no true god but Allah We ask Allah to make this a blessed entry and a blessed opening with more openings. Ameen. Oh Allah, increase us in guidance and keep us on the way of guidance until the last moment of our lives. We ask Allah for His forgiveness and His Mercy. Anything that is good from these notes is from Allah. Any mistakes & misrepresentations are my own. I ask Allah for His forgiveness and to put forgiveness in the hearts of those who read them. Ameen ya Rabb Al Alameen.
