Points are awarded to those DREs who have successfully completed the certification process and maintained their certification. When the job description includes only some of the resonsibilities, circle those which apply and allow 5 points for each responsibility up to 30 points. 1. Articulates a plan for comprehensive religious education in light of the parish vision and mission. 2. Manages planning, assessment and evaluation of parish catechists. 3

3. Oversees the administration of parish catechetical programs including budgeting, record keeping and implementing archdiocesan and parish policies. 4. Manages recruitment, orientation and supervision of catechetical personnel. 5. Provides opportunities for formation and education of catechists leading to adrhdiocesan certification. 6. Collaborates with Pastor/Pastoral Coordinator, members of parish staff and Education Commission and Religious Education Advisory Group integrating area of responsibility with the overall parish endeavor. 7. Oversees preparation and celebration of sacraments. 8. Relates to cluster, deanery, vicariate, archdiocesan and ecumenical structure as appropriate.
