Holy Spirit Lenten Soup Suppers Come and join us at our Lenten Soup Suppers. The members of the Holy Spirit Parish Council are inviting you to join us Monday Evenings during Lent 2018, in the Senior s Room below the Church for some hearty, homemade and delicious bowls of soup and bread. Bring your family and enjoy a way of giving to the Catholic Relief Services in a unique way. What you may save in making supper at home can be given to CRS on these Lenten Soup Suppers. You can even volunteer to bring a pot of your favorite soup and/or bread to share with fellow parishioners. We gather together at 6:30pm, and usually have three or sometimes four pots of soup on hand with delicious bread and we eat and share time together with our Parish family. Our first soup supper is Monday, February 26 th, (Feb. 19 was a holiday). At 7:30pm, there will be a DVD shown from the Catholicism Series by Bishop Robert Barron. On February 26 th, we will see: The Fire of His Love Prayer and the Life of the Spirit. Please sign up at the Church doors so we will know how many members of our Parish Community plan to attend. Those who attend say this is a wonderful way to share Lent with our Parish family.
