Several Holy Spirit Church parishioners have recently begun fundraising efforts to help us stay current with our bills and hopefully put a few dollars aside for emergency purposes. Please support these efforts by attending the Applebees Breakfast, donating to the Garage Sale as well as attending the Garage Sale or volunteering to assist at these events. As is always the case the same hard working volunteers are involved in planning these events, however, anyone is welcome to join in. Contact information for each event is on the flyers on this page. If you are unable to help your attendance would be greatly appreciated!! Support our Parish Confirmation Candidates Tickets for the Applebee s Easter Bunny Breakfast will be sold after the Masses on the weekends of March 10/11 and 17/18. Tickets are $10 each. The Easter Bunny will be at the breakfast with complimentary filled plastic eggs for the children. We will also have a raffle for various prizes, along with a 50/50. Those chance tickets will be sold at the breakfast. Please join us for this fun social activity while supporting this important fundraiser for our church! Holy Spirit Lenten Soup Suppers Come and join us at our Lenten Soup Suppers. The members of the Holy Spirit Parish Council are inviting you to join us Monday Evenings during Lent 2018, in the Senior s Room below the Church for some hearty, homemade and delicious bowls of soup and bread. Bring your family and enjoy a way of giving to the Catholic Relief Services in a unique way. What you may save in making supper at home can be given to CRS on these Lenten Soup Suppers. You can even volunteer to bring a pot of your favorite soup and/or bread to share with fellow parishioners. We gather together at 6:30pm, and usually have three or sometimes four pots of soup on hand with delicious bread and we eat and share time together with our Parish family. Our first soup supper is Monday, February 26 th, (Feb. 19 was a holiday). At 7:30pm, there will be a DVD shown from the Catholicism Series by Bishop Robert Barron. On February 26 th, we will see: The Fire of His Love Prayer and the Life of the Spirit. Please sign up at the Church doors so we will know how many members of our Parish Community plan to attend. Those who attend say this is a wonderful way to share Lent with our Parish family.
