Come to St. John the Evangelist Church in Fredericton for a delicious meal with wonderful people. Thanks to willing volunteers and warm hearts, we are offering a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings at 12noon on Christmas day. If you will be alone or simply would enjoy a free Christmas dinner with others, come. Enjoy Christmas music, conversation and food in the friendly atmosphere of our hall. Thank you to the decorating crew who was here this week and have made our Worship spaces even more beautiful for the Advent and Christmas seasons. Thank you to everyone who assisted in making our annual Christmas Dinner for our neighbours a resounding success. Donations of food and gifts and time are most appreciated as are the chefs, potato peelers, dishwashers and set-up crew. Thanks to our Youth Group for getting together and making the lovely gift bags to give out at the dinner - for some, this could be their only gift. Everyone who attended is always so appreciative; it is truly a wonderful event in which to participate. Our thanks to all the readers and musicians who have come together to lead our Service of Lessons and Carols. The choir has been practicing diligently since October and our organist, Alice, began her planning long before then. A welcome and thank you to our talented trumpeter, Jonathan Snell, and to Signa Love who has been singing with us over the Advent Season.
