64 Official letter from the lord commandant general Consequent to that which has. been disclosed by the assessor of this commandery in.view of cuaderno-number 22, which Your Lordship remitted to me with the documents of the inspection review of this company, to authorise distribution of the twenty thousand pesos repaid by Lieutenant Colonel Don Angel de Martos [y Navarrete] to the troops who served at the [now] abandoned presidio of [Nuestra Senora del Pilar de] los Adaes, I have resolved by today's decree to apprise Your Lordship--as I now do--that the effects worth seven hundred twenty-two pesos and four `ranos deposited with Don Luis Ant[oni]o Menchaca as a-debit [Rubric of Domingo Cabello - in favor of Felis and Cristobal de los Reyes, Jose Luis de los Rios, and Antonio Romero, are to be sold immediately at public auction at the highest prices they can bring. The liquid amount which they bring shall be placed in the gratificasion fund of the company with the status of a deposit for the time being.
