1st Cor. 10:31 Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God Praise God for the new work teams from different parts of the U.S We are now more workers and more will be done Hallelujah. Where ever we go The Lord goes before us, He never leaves us. Remember to bring Wheelchairs if you can to bless others. Work will bear its fruit.
Late News Letter for Oct. 2014 Forgive us, forgive me, Pastor John, for being late in this newsletter. I wanted to write, Christian did write and I had no time to edit his letter and my wife Beti had no time to write also. Much took place, my drive home, Cristian s holiday escape where he visited and shared in 4 churches and Beti s daily helping others. Our two church plants have grown and have more attendants than Zihuatanejo Christian Fellowship has this time of the year. And on top of this we have joined up with a third church that wants to work alongside with us. I traveled most of the month of Oct., Christian was away for almost two weeks and Beti was tied up with legal issues with the Children s Home. Does that mean we were not active in our ministries? Absolutely not! As I traveled I visited many churches and people sharing our ministries. And even more important, my mind and heart was communicating with Jesus in what He has in store for our ministry. Cristian was on vacation but he preached and rapped in churches and rehabs throughout the Mexican states of Michoacán and Guanajuato.
Beti kept her children ministries going but focused on the legal aspects of the orphanage or better called, Children s Home. We all could share hundreds of photos and tell stories of God using us, but since I returned we have not had time to even have special meetings and we have three visiting teams to work with, one is here now, another is arriving this afternoon and the dentists come on Friday. Please forgive us for being behind to share some wonderful things that took place around each of us. In several weeks we will be sharing what is happening now with Godly people from Florida, Canada, Ohio and Olympia, Washington. God bless. Keep reading please Now I want to talk about some new projects we plan to get involved with these next few months and hopefully some of you would help us financially and all of you help us prayerfully. We now have three Mexican churches and our English speaking church, Zihuatanejo Christian Fellowship. What we plan is having a Thanksgiving festival together to share our thanksgiving holidays to
our Mexican brothers. We want to have a turkey dinner together for at least 60 people. Next we were invited to take part in the Shoe Box Ministry. If you haven t heard about this it is a ministry for children... Churches and an organization in the United States put together children gifts in shoe boxes and each box includes something about Jesus. They are given free, but they need to be shipped here and payments made for the custom laws at the border. So this group has asked pastors to pay 1 dollar a box. Different pastors ordered 40, 50, 60 and this gringo pastor ordered 300. We will use our youth in our groups to give to children in the areas where we serve The Children s Home kids will give to the many poor children around the area where they live. All the children who will receive one of these special gifts will come either to our churches or Children s Home depending on what area they live. So kids and youth will be blessed to give a blessed present to poor children and Jesus will be shared to the children who come and their parents if they come with their kids - God willing. Last, but not the least, will be our angel tree project that we have not been able to do over the last few years because of money shortage and people to help. We now have a working family in our four churches. Angel Tree is the name of an organization where gifts at Christmas are delivered to inmate children in the inmate s name. We do a project like this and believe me it opens up ways to reach people for Jesus and bless those involved and the children s parents who are incarcerated. I can remember this taking place when I was in prison and the inmates were so happy. This project has saved a lot of marriages.
Here in Mexico we have seen a lot of changes in families. One boy as he was opening his present kept saying, Papi me ama, Papi me ama in English, Daddy loves me, Daddy loves me. There is stronger love we share in that their Father in Heaven loves them. We have people to help buy, wrap and deliver these gifts and let me tell you it is difficult finding these places where the kids live. There very seldom is a direct address. It is something like this, the house is behind the store on the hill above the school. The Holy Spirit guides us Could you help us with a prayer covering and financially if possible without taking away from your regular giving. We make the bills now, but just barely each month and our ministries are growing. In Christ s love, Pastor John
