You are my Savior I owe everything to. Take all the treasures that lie in my storehouse. They cannot follow when I enter Your house. Chorus: So I surrender all to You. I surrender all. Take all my cravings for vain recognition, fleshly indulgence, and worldly ambition. I want so much Lord, to make You the focus, to serve You in secret and never be noticed. Take all my hunger for all that s forbidden, every desire and sin I keep hidden. Search me and know me, I want to bring to You a life that is holy and sanctified through You.
Benediction Postlude **Elders are available for prayer at the front of the sanctuary Why do we do that? Benediction At the conclusion of our morning worship the pastor typically has everyone rise to receive the benediction. When our pastor pronounces this he is speaking the blessing (which is what benediction means) of the Lord into our hearts just as Aaron was commanded to do in Number 6:22-26. Often people symbolize receiving that blessing by extending their hands as you would to receive a gift. This is a picture of the blessings we receive from the Lord and it reminds us of His faithful care as we leave to worship and serve in our daily lives. Beginning August 21 The Age of Kings: 1&2 Samuel, 1&2 Kings, 1&2 Chronicles - What can history, even biblical history, possibly reveal to us about God? What was God up to in the reign of King David and his son Solomon? Why did God destroy ancient Jerusalem and send them into exile for seventy years? What relevance can the age of Old Testament kings possibly have in the life of a twenty-first century believer? Why did God speak prophetically to his people during this period of time? These questions and more will be considered in this class. We will explore together God s redemptive historical work revealed in the pages of scripture and see how the mission of the people of God both then and now has always been the same. August 21st through December 11th Taught by Greg Baney Recovering Redemption: The Bible is clear that God intends for his people to experience life abundantly.
