Course Structure of Study The Bachelor of Theology award comprises of: 8 Core Subjects 8 subjects in an area of specialisation (Major) 8 Elective subjects including a Professional Practice unit To be eligible to graduate with the Bachelor of Theology award, a candidate shall accrue at least 240 credit points, including satisfactory completion of the rules noted below. Maximum of 8 subjects (80 credit points) at 100 level Minimum of 4 subjects (40 credit points) at 300 level Minimum 1 subject (10 credit points) in professional experience Area of Specialisation - Majors The following are Major s offered in the Bachelor of Theology. You are to select one major and complete the requirements Theology Biblical Studies Old Testament Studies New Testament Studies Christian Studies Elective Subjects If you have completed the requirements of a Major, any additional units completed within the major or other major is classified as an Elective subject. Any unit that is not within the Bachelor of Theology award is classified as an Elective subject. Before enrolling into an elective subject, ensure that you have met the pre-requisite for that unit. For example, MAN311 Strategic Management is a unit outside of the Bachelor of Theology award. You must meet the pre-requisite of 120 credit points and completed MAN101 Introduction to Management and MAN201 Organisational Behaviour. 2 PAGE
