I have worked hard to provide an amazing Yoga experience for you all and I am confident you will thoroughly enjoy where this experience will take you. This is not just like any other Yoga retreat. This is not just a few yoga classes somewhere hot. It is a yoga retreat to switch off, unwind, enjoy good company and delight in a varied yoga practice with meditation and other practices. Free use of Yoga Shala & the Meditation Room all day. For those training in the SandstoneTeacher Training Academy you can practice and perhaps do some free one-to-one sessions with the Sandstone guests. How wonderful to be able to add that you have taught in Andalucia to your yoga CV already! What s included: All Yoga, meditation and relaxation sessions, 3 vegetarian meals per day and homemade flavoured water at mealtimes. The water is drinkable from the tap. Bedding, towels, towelling robe and soap. Free use of hot tub, free WIFI (over the whole complex), free use of pool. Yoga Shala and Meditation Room. Also there will be 1 evening Meditation under the stars in the mountains and additional evening Yoga Nidra in the style of the Satyananda tradition. One night you can make your own pizza and cook in the traditional outdoor Andalucian oven. One night Steve will make home-made paella (vegetarian option). Again you choose what you add. What s not included: Flights, Insurance, Transfers, Optional extra s-reiki/massages, trips out if you like, art workshops. Bottled or canned drinks, alcoholic drinks. There is an honesty bar available for this so you can have a drink at night if you wish. Food: All diets are catered for, wholesome vegetarian, homemade and sourced from local farmers. What do I need to take: Yoga Mat, Yoga Brick, Yoga Strap, a Covering for relaxation/meditation, swimming costume, EHIC card, travel insurance, water bottle, sun tan lotion, sun hat. Travel adapter plug. Hairdryer or straighteners. Those in bold are compulsory. The others are advisable. Daily schedule: 8.30-10.30am Yoga and meditation 10.30 Breakfast Relax/time to read/walk/swim/take massages 2pm Lunchtime 5-7pm evening Yoga session 8pm Evening Meal, followed by an evening programme of Meditation/Yoga Nidra some or most nights Optional Activities: Local short walks (maps provided), Art workshops with Steffi, Horse riding nearby, reiki, massages, all on site.
Accommodation: The accommodation is amazing. 13 bedrooms all twin or double having access to bathrooms and the standards are incredibly high. Cost: 575 for 4 nights all inclusive of meals and local flavoured water at mealtimes. Free drinkable tap water throughout the day. This can be sorted out as flights become available to book which is over the summer 2017. The earlier you book your flight, generally the cheaper it is. Transfer time is 1 hour 45 minutes and should work out at no more than 40 per person (this is an overestimation at the moment). My partner wants to come but not do the sessions? If you want to take a non-participating party that is fine, you must share a double room and the price for the second person is 400. In the interest of fairness to all if your non-participating friend chooses to participate additional charges will be made. A Fun Idea... Michelle has travelled the world as you now and games are a really good way to break the ice, speak the common language and slip into that slower pace of life that comes with real unwinding. There will be a chance to play cards or board games if you like. Please bring cards or any games you want to teach Michelle she can get competitive however (but not where Yoga is concerned of course).
