PATTIE HUTCHINSON, SEPTEMBER 17, 2016 Sorry to hear about Kirk, It's sad to hear things like this about a person who loved life so much. I knew Kirk at NEO College in Miami Oklahoma when he started as an assistant baseball coach under Coach Ritchel, and then became coach. I must say that during the years he was there, NEO Baseball was great. He not only showed a great ability to coach a great bunch of boys, but the community showed support for him and his team. I remember he was always smiling and laughing, went out of his way to say hi to me, he was my friend. david DAVID NOEL, SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 Kirk was a great man from the 1st day I ever met him as Steve's little brother. Always admired the way he went about his business. Many prayers to the whole Piskor family. TIM TADLOCK, SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 Julie: How I wish I could hug you and make it all go away! MARY ANN PISKOR SULLENBERGER, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 I am saddened to have heard the news and my prayers go out to the Piskor family. It has been a few years since I have seen Kirk, we played baseball against each other in high school and college. I can always remember what a great talent he was on the field. A tremendous athlete and a great person. I didn't get to know Kirk all that well but truly respected him. I went to Plano High School and Texas Tech and loved the times we would play Plano East and The University of Arkansas. May God bless your family and help them through this time of grief. Jeff Boydston
JEFF BOYDSTON, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 I knew Kirk while we attended the University of Arkansas, through my friend, Shannon. I enjoyed going to the Razorback baseball games. Those guys had a close bond and obviously still do. I saw Kirk as a person of great character and integrity. I too, remember his laugh. I particularly remember it when he would get frustrated about something and be so serious and then break out into laughter! He was a great guy. I am sure he went on to be a wonderful husband, father and friend to many. My sincere condolences to Julie and Kate and also to the Piskor family and his many friends. MARY JO COLVIN WESTBROOK, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 John and I want to express our sympathy for your loss. Your family is in our prayers. God Bless. - Jason JASON JENNINGS, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 I want to extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of a great friend, husband, father, and just an all around good person. I met Kirk Piskor at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in Miami, OK in 1996 and instantly built a friendship with Kirk and considered him a mentor. I think most of our team was drawn to his tenacious competitive drive and hard work ethic. It didn't matter if you were walking to lunch or talking sports with him, it was a contest, and very rarely did Kirk lose. I remember how strong Kirk was and he always pushed us in the weight room. His laugh was contagious and he made everyone around him better and for those of us lucky enough to have known him, we will miss him until we meet again. I have to tell this story from NEO: It was the middle of
winter in Commons Hall our dorms at NEO and our old fashioned heating system goes out. Here we are for three week with no heat, so everyone goes to Walmart and buys space heaters. Guess what happens next? The space heaters keep tripping the circuit breaker to the dorm. After this happens several times Coach Kirk Piskor has a meeting with the whole team and tells us that if he catches anyone with a space heater on we will have to run. The next night my roommate (Michael Buckingham) and I are watching TV in our warm and toasty room with our space heater on. Piskor comes and knocks on our door and notices how warm it is in our room and immediately says gets your #$$es out to the football field pronto. (Now understand that Its 11pm with ice on the ground.) We put on some sweats and Kirk makes us do bear crawls and up downs in the ice for about an hour. We finish our punishment and proceed back to our rooms. A few months ago I wrote this story in a message to Kirk and Buck and we told Kirk the rest of the story when we got back to the dorm that night. Our hands were frozen and there was only on way to warm up, so we turned our space heaters back on and went to bed. : ) When Kirk heard about this a few months ago he said " Damn you Dorsey, I should have known". I imagined that he said it with Kirks good old fashioned chuckle that no one will ever forget. JEFF DORSEY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2016 A Sad Loss to my Razorback Family and Baseball Roommate - Kirk Piskor - passed away yesterday. A true Baseball Heart and Soul. "May the God of hope fill you all with peace, as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 ROGER SULLENBERGER, JR., SEPTEMBER 8, 2016 I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Kirk. As the son of my cousin Steve (Sonny) Piskor, I had the opportunity to meet Kirk a few times. One of those times was when Steve, Clara, and family came to Maryland to visit with their relatives. While they they joined us for a cookout in the backyard. As you read Kirk was really into sports, especially baseball. I was an avid Field Lacrosse player at the time and Kirk and I played catch with me throwing a ball with my lacrosse stick and Kirk playing catcher. One of his brothers was the umpire calling strikes and balls. I was able to strike out the side without giving up a walk. The final out was a strike right down the pike with a 3-2 count. Anita and
I send out our most sincere condolences to Kirk's entire family, especially to his parents, wife and daughter. The world has lost a special person.
