Count your days by golden hours, Don t remember clouds at all. Count the nights by stars, not shadows, Count your life with smiles, not tears, And with joy on Jesus Birthday; Count your blessings, not your years.

Our 2017 Christmas Project This was a great adventure with the new program initiated by Thrivent - Lead a Thrivent Action Team for your Community with $250 seed money. Our goal was to provide Christmas presents for the children of Aids families here in Canyon Country. Requests for help came from three organizations asking for 100 gifts each. With the help of The Vineyard we were able to take gifts to two organizations respectively. All of the gifts were donated by our members and friends (54) and The Vineyard (70+). In addition, the church received a donation of 100 beautiful Stockings. We filled them with apples, tangerines and treats purchased with the funds from Thrivent and handed them out at the Christmas party here in CC. Over 100 kids received gifts and a stocking at the event. Family s photographs were taken, which we had printed. (Some of the pictures are shown here). A great big thank you to all who participated purchasing the gifts and assembling the stockings and making sure that everything we promised was ready to be delivered. I had the good fortune of participating in the Christmas Party on December 15th at the NEVHC in CC. The kids received gifts from Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus by family. The planning team: Ursula Krummel and Lyndsee Little, Mini Sterling

CAFÉ ESPERANZA DECEMBER 2017 Thank you for a successful evening. The music was great! Thanks to Nancy and her team for a wonderful door prize table. Y all made great ornaments. Thanks!
