Once a team gets tic-tac-toe, the board is cleared, and a new game begins. Record the number of wins for each team. large flat rocks (five or six for each RA) permanent markers small plastic zippered bags (one for each RA) protection material under cairn 1. Ask for permission to display a large cairn in the church as a reminder to pray for the adopted people group. Cairn can also be set up in the RA classroom. 2. Explain how there are approximately 200 countries in the world. In those countries are 7 billion people in over 11,000 different people groups. A people group is a group of people who share the same language, the same culture, and the same beliefs. Approximately half of the people groups are unreached, meaning there are no Christians within the people group and need people from outside the people group to teach them about Jesus. There are many missionaries who are serving in the countries where there are unreached people groups. 5. Share with RAs information about two or three people groups (so they will have the option of choosing which people group they would like to adopt). Share about the needs and spiritual needs of the people groups. 6. Explain that a cairn is a man-made pile of rocks. Cairns are used to mark boundary lines for property or as trail markers to remind hikers to stay on a hiking path. 7. As a Lad, you will learn the Royal Ambassador Pledge and Motto. You will also learn about the RA Shield. When you understand the meaning of the RA Shield, it will identify you as a Royal Ambassador Lad. It is your RA Identity. What s the Evidence? Draw a picture of the RA Shield. Write the RA Motto under the shield you have drawn. My Praying Learning to pray for missionaries is important so you can be a helpful and useful Ambassador for Christ. The Bible says to never stop praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NIrV). Praying for missionaries is one way you can help them and their missions work. Your prayers are important to the missionaries. The best way to pray for missionaries is to imagine you are a missionary and have to do what they do. What s the Evidence? If you were a missionary, how would you want someone to pray for you?
